shame cause they are good.

But some of DBZ:A still makes me laught to this day, but if they arent up to it, makes sense for them to just stop and do something else.
From the sounds of things, it wasn't that they weren't up to it, it's that they took themselves so seriously they couldn't imagine continuing the story after such an epic ending. Which they actually said when they announced it was over.

I'm not sure how they'd do in non comedy roles, especially if people recognizing their voice and project their characters. Which is a big problem when most Japanese comedies are prominently girls.
I also doubt they'd be easy people to work with, I can see most of them arguing over the script trying to improve it.

I can see Kaiser getting into arguments over lines or claiming he can punch up the script

The main reasons for not continuing were burnout, always having the issue of copyright strikes and the like, and not having the same passion for the Buu Saga that they did for other parts of DBZ. I think the Shortz gave them more freedom along with taking always the risk of getting flagged by YouTube.

They also mentioned not wanting to get into a rotting zombie of quality. And future plans. But Steel hit a lot of the big ones, but I think Buu was also Kaiser being Kaiser, or Taka, I get them mixed up. Either way, whoever’s the de facto head of TFS basically ended the ride.

Also, Kuriboh:
Not sure if anyone already posted this, but Martin Billany is once again craving brownie points with the idiot crowd.

Yeah, that's the official story, but I still have my suspicions about the "not wanting it to become a zombie" explanation, as they did mention quite often in streams and let's plays, right up to the point of cancellation, that they had plans for Buu, I think Lani even mentioned being excited for it. Plus, they only had one saga left, it's not like it was going to end up like The Simpsons or Scrub's where it just keeps getting renewed year after year despite the constantly dropping quality, they had a finish line.

Personally, I think that part of the group was all in on it, part of them wanted to end it, and some of the group were a mix of wanting to finish it up and tired of dealing with all the legal B.S and they couldn't do Buu without the people who were calling it quits help, so they made burn out the official story. Which is technically true, a few people were probably feeling a bit burn out on DBZA, and it's not like they're going to throw anyone under the bus by saying "Yeah, we wanted to do Buu, but X and X didn't want to, so we're calling it quits" (at least, not yet, a few years from now, who knows?).

I still think they should have announced they we're going to do a couple month hiatus to compose themselves, rest, recharge, maybe sort out the bullshit, and then finish up DBZA, maybe even make Buu a bit shorter then Cell so as to avoid burn out again. I know this is certainly not the source of all of modern TFS's problems, but I do think calling it quits hurt their image and started imposing a mind-set on them that is not doing them any favors.

I'm not even sure what voice acting work anyone's gotten recently. Last big thing I'm aware of was fucking Borderlands 3.
Imo if these guys played their cards right, they could have actually had lead roles in anime... as opposed to maybe a very tiny, blink it and you'll miss it cameo

Last thing I know of was that Lani and the chick who played 18 were in Island of the Giant Insects of all things.
Lani's character gets raped to death by giant flies if they get around to a sequel.

No, the one to do that is Taka.
In fact, he does it now.
What kind of shit does he sperg over?

I've been checked out of all of them for a while, but I remember him being an avid Bernie Bro, despite being a leaf.

Even though I would of liked them to do Buu, I think they ended on a high note, and I don't miss it so much. What I'm really glad for is they finished Hellsing Ultimate before completely losing it.

The cracks were definitely showing though. I remember the finale had them taking shots at Twilight critics, even though a Twilight joke was literally how the series started.

Taka going expectional with his political views and all, I can see. He was going hard into being a “real” voice actor, and if Funimation has shown us anything, it’s that you’d better have the “correct” mindset or else.

Kaiser always had those views, they just became more and more intense as the US mindset on them became more and more intense.
