TFS started their yearly DBCember schtick.

They say it's going to be their last DBCember. While I know that it's getting increasingly impossible to find new things DBZ to rank, but this is another instance where killing off one of their known shows will definitely hurt.

Edit: Additional comments on the video.
Put the video at ×1.5 speed because it's fucking not funny to waste 4 goddamn minutes on an intro skit, followed by a minute and a half of explaining the rules, and then another minute and a half on a shitty sponsorship skit.

Having never touched super outside of the movies, I have absolutely no opinion on their pick.
Not really surprised that this is their last. Probably also one of their last dbz related media before their channel dies a slow and silent death.
I always kind of liked Totally Not Mark, but not having Dragon Ball turboautist MasakoX in this is a missed opportunity. Not even namedropping him is worse. He’s been part of their journey for years.

Actually what's the last Team Four Star project that had MasakoX? I know they said having the guy live across the pond made recording some a pain, namely the gaming shit, but they can't get him on the pre-recorded DBZ stuff? Have they moved on from each other or what?

Given how they candidly talked about recasting some of Masako's roles and how he cried about it, I wouldn't be that surprised if they're not that close and just didn't want to do this with him.

When was this because that's a pretty shitty thing to do, especially to one of the original members. Masako always seemed like a nice guy even if all his DBZ fanfiction became too much for me, so him being dunked on by supposed friends just don't feel right.

It was one of their behind the scenes streams. They weren't really dunking on him, but it still came off mean to talk about in a public forum.

I'd say it's clear they're burned out on DBZ. Unfortunately for them, nobody cares about them for anything but Dragonball, because that's what happens when you become known for essentially fanfiction.

They said as much when they announced they were ending DBZ Abridged.

And for that reason, here we are.
It was a strong indication, but considering how much KaiserNeko was a pain in everyone's backside with his editing, how he had a meltdown over it then didn't do anything to fix it, and how they were in a constant war with Toei that they only maintained a stalemate with so long as they retained Funimation's favor (and when they quit it was around the time Funimation got sued and there was speculation it might collapse or be restaffed) there are other arguments for why they could have quit than just that they were tired of DBZ itself. Quitting basic things like DBCember shows they just want to move away from Dragonball itself (despite their team name). It won't work though, since their original content isn't good and nobody is interested in a Team Four Star without the four star ball.

I'd say the only ones who'll stick around are the same suck-ups they had for ages.

Admittedly, this is a DBcember I actively wanted them to do... except I was hoping they'd rank every arc instead of the top 12. As such, by their own admission, GT got completely struck from the list. I think it would have been interesting for them to be ranked as well (presumably, from worst to best, Black Star Balls, Super 17, Baby, and Shadow Dragons). I think they said there are 17 sagas, so I assume the last would have been the Garlic Jr. filler saga.
