As a Vaccinator medic, I used to pocket a Heavy and it was the shit. Back before everything got really lame. RIP my unusuals.
 
So I actually am playing TF2 again aside from the annoying match making I am having fun. However, I wanna ask why do people even want new weapons for classes? As it stands almost every new weapon added has been either nerfed to the ground and or just gets it balls removed and its not worth using anymore. Only very FEW weapons ever get past their stock variants like the Iron bomber or tomi slav it seems.

Like the Degreaser I used to love this thing but I just dont like using it anymore over stock.

if you’re looking for weapons that are straight upgrades you won’t find them. They’re meant to be sidegrades not upgrades. Of course some weapons are basically just upgrades but those usually get nerfed (old DR for example). Using different weapons are supposed to change your playstyle not reinforce a previous one imo. Degreaser to me always screams the degreaser/reserve shooter/power jack build for example, rather than a stock, flare, or phlog build

There are some weapons/concepts that would be cool and some of them can transform a class (like the melee-focused Demoman).

Although, the game is a bit old for that now and there's frankly too many fucking items in the game as-is, they should at least "finish" the items currently - having any item be able to be Australian or Strange variants - instead of the smattering we've got now.

The shit that cracks me up in that regard is that 6's players are so obsessed with their precious meta that they have forgotten how to play against anything else. The whole reason why the degreaser got nerfed was because b4nny was mad about Pyros airblasting all the his shit back to him in pubs and then every youtuber under the sun parroted his opinions like sheep until it got nerfed.

I miss the Degreaser, the Claidheamh Mòr and the Soda Popper, all of them gone because they worked against the 6's meta :(

Edit: Also the entire Fun Police loadout for engie. God, I miss playing the fun police.

the meta would be somewhat better if 5CP wasn't a terribly flawed gamemode that stalemates about as hard as CTF

I dislike symmetrical gamemodes, I’ve always held the opinion that payload is the best. It’s more fun to watch, to play, and it doesn’t meta slave nearly as hard as 6s. I fucking hate 6s fags and all their lemming followers.

I've noticed a lot of them but they typically get insta-kicked. I'm not entirely sure why people complain so much about the bots. Sure they're annyoing and it would be better if they didn't exist but, people act like they've been joining servers filled with the things and that it's impossible to remove them. Or is it that the bots are worse on EU servers than US servers?

Also does anyone have good pointers for sniper?

There's a vote delay so kicking them all would take longer depending on who cooperates. I think you can't permanently kick them out because they're scripted to leave before they're voted out.

EDIT: Take this with a very tiny grain of salt but word on 4chan is the bots are the work of a troon. Would not even surprise me.

that's why abandoning community servers was a mistake.

4chan always accuses trannies as a cause though I’m told Creators.tf one of the few legit community servers left has some major problems canceling people.

It seems like it's obvious but I've seen tons of people not realize it; keep the laser sight off of walls and the ground by hovering it around either ledges above or below who you're aiming at until you can strife into their head range and pop them that way. Whenever you're scoped the enemy is going to be able to see where you're aiming at by the team colored dot against the wall.
