Best class(es) to play as?

I would play TF2 but I somehow feel it's something I'd fail at a lot and make my entire team mad at me. I'm considerate enough to not even try as a result.

I bought a nametag and renamed my one weapon "Jermaine 'Poo' Dire".

I play every once in a while. I'm pretty bad at the PvP(unless it's a holiday event, those I'm good at for some reason)Aside from that, I generally play MvM mode.

Hey, I suck at the game too, doesn't stop me from playing it. Keep in mind, I play the PvE(Which I think I do ok on), not the PvP(which I do suck at, like really, really, really badly) Worst comes to worse, you get vote-kicked, join a different server, learn, find a class that works for you. Adapt, and keep playing anyways.

Aside from the near radioactive community, I do enjoy Hat Simulator 2 from time to time. Maybe we could all play and just screw around and not take the game seriously.

I used to play TF2 all the time, but I got bored with it eventually. It's a fun game though.

Saxton Hale Mode is the best mode in the game, even if it's not official. That along with Death Run and Prop Hunt.

I always try to participate in the holiday events. They are the only times I actually do the PvP and where people seem like they are having legit fun without all the rage and crying.
I also have so many crates I don't know what to do with. I'd sell them in the community market, but they are pretty much worthless(even the ones that don't drop anymore, and averaging about $.03*spins finger sarcastically*wooooo.....)

I've honestly never tried SHM. From the videos I've seen of it, it looks like lots of fun!

It definitely is. Next time you play TF2, find a Saxton Hale server. You will not be disappointed.

Pure autism.

I got that furry mask for the Medic and because I got it in a cauldron, there's no way to get rid of it. Why have you forsaken me, Gabe?

Valve totally knew this was gonna happen, too.

Got back into the game recently and it's still quite fun for me.

I do tend to get annoyed at how many teams have a tendency to have 3-4 snipers/spies/engineers and no medics. Usually I try to fill in the niche despite wanting to play as certain classes.

And unfortunately, this kind of thing also seems to happen a lot in MvM. A mode where having a good team structure is required.

Besides that though, between this and Garry's Mod, I'm able to keep myself occupied for quite a while before I find other games to play. Good thing too, as I'm trying to save my money.

The thread is dead so I'll post this comic I made because I'm tired of Medic's always being shit.

so wait do we have a kiwi server?

it'd be fun to run sixes with forum members

As much as I still like Tf2, I miss the old days of the game back before there were barely any hats and there were only a few weapons. I feel like in the time since the games inception, that Norman Rockwell/Dean Cornwell vibe that the art style had has not only been diminished but done away with entirely. I don't mean to beat on the oldfag drum, but I really miss that aesthetic. There aren't enough games that go for that visual effect and its a crying shame too.

So I was trying out the custom "Stop that Tank!" game mode. (It's essentially payload, but instead of the cart, you have the tank from MVM and the blue team are all robots).

I was given the chance to become a bomb carrying Giant Scout on Upward after our tank was destroyed. I was able to run past the entire enemy team and get to the end. However, I didn't know how to actually drop the bomb and win the game, so I thought I was supposed to jump into the hole. Turned out that was the exact wrong thing to do and the game considered me "driven back" and sent our bomb back to the beginning. Needless to say, my team was kinda pissed at me and I felt kinda bad for doing such a bone headed move.

However, the next round, someone on the other team did the almost exact same thing, so I didn't feel too bad afterwards.

I can understand where you're coming from. TF2 had, (well personally, I still think it kinda does) a pretty unique aesthetic you don't see a lot in other games.

But I'm okay with the direction it has taken too. *shrugs*

I go on Stop That Tank all the time dude! That's my favorite mod in the game.

Also, what do people think of the update? Personally, I like it a lot.

As someone who plays Heavy a lot, I really like how the Natascha and Brass Beast now give you a defense boost while spinning the minigun. Plus he can now do extra damage to sentries. He's much more viable now.
