My God, those first years of casual and MyM, all those memories back hitting like a truck
The absurdly long time in the queue on the first days of casual, the brief disappearence of the create server button, 70% of the community server population gone in less than a month, being unable to play with friends, the bots invading and kicking you out if you tried to votekick them for years
And to think the latter only got solved because one part-timer still gave a fuck about tf2
the f2ps getting fucked beyond recovery because a faggy journo made an article about all those evil bots saying mean words(nigger), and it's still a thing despite the bots being gone now
the part about the competitive being awful(and still being) on their stress tests reminded me that you had to pay a ticket to play competitive in the first place, not required anymore but goddam, and for 20 shekels(reduced to 5 but still)
The MYM Update broke the game by trying to bridge an insurmountable gap between vanilla and competitive
that middle ground that the compies didnt like any bit, heh, players being able to pick whatever class they wanted, using mad milk or vaccinators, funny
funny that the game got massacred for this, taking notes of the competitive people of all things, and it still didnt work
God knows if it'll ever change, almost 10 years have passed, they still have time to fix it right?
