Good news, there's been references to Houndeyes in the datamines for HLX, so hopefully they're going to return along with other Xen creatures that weren't in HL2.

I've done too much off-topic posting lol

I do remember seeing that. I'm very curious to see how they'll handle them but also how they'll handle the other creatures as well.

Portal 2 isn't nearly as bad as what the Wheatonese infestation brought. Is like Iron Man 1 vs Avengers Endgame. Flanderization is what kills, there's a big gap between Portal and say, Borderlands or Forspoken, which is a combination of the cancers. The comedy is so much more mild and restrained, but nobody got the memo that it shouldn't be overdone. As seen by Valve themselves. Even Portal and Portal 2 are very different tonally, it's how much things changed in their writing department in a very short time.
