Real great Valve, why don't you fix your game and create a "classic" version of your game so that you can please the 2 types of players?

Couple of things
  • Why does phlog taunt give pyro uber? It only makes fighting a phlog pyro even more annoying and also opens the door for exploits
  • The way random crits are implemented now allows cheaters to give themselvs crits on demand. Why couldn't Valve make the server tell the client in advance which shots should be crits?

Or get rid of random crits. I have no idea why people are attached to them.
 
TF2 in 2007 had no upgradeable dispensers and teleporters, no airblast and no payload.
Also Spy's backstab delay, Medic can save charge during an active Uber by just switching weapons, sticky's CANT be destroyed by shooting them & trying to push them with bullets/explosions barely move them at all, air sticky's do max damage, sticky's have no damage ramp up from letting them sit, Heavy's minigun doesn't have spin up time damage ramp up, Soldier used to have 36 reserve rockets instead of 20, Demo had 30 reserve pipes & 40 fucking stickys, Pyro being fucking useless (had like legit 3 less feet of range than it does now), dispensers will give you max ammo instantly from touching them once, Spy couldn't get cloak from ammo packs & even resupply, Sniper could get random crits with his rifle, Spy couldn't change disguise weapons, & changing disguises while already disguised took 4 seconds

tl;dr Demo was fucking unbelievably broken back then, Spy & Pyro are joke throw classes (still are)

How bout the console ports of the orange box ubisoft did. I never played it but I know it had some weird differences like demo having 6 pipe bombs when fully loaded.

Ubisoft never worked with Orange Box. 360 port was done by Valve, PS3 was done in cooperation with EA because Gaben had no idea how to develop games for Cell processor architecture.
"Weird differences" are just things that were patched in PC version of the game. 6 pipes, for example, were cut before release.

what did ubisoft port then? l4d? half life? Or am just mixing up the 2 worst companies?

That was EA who did the PS3 port (p sure they did the L4D2 360 port aswell), Demo used to have 6 pipes way back in the beta but they turned it into what it is today, the 360 version has 4 pipes though. Also the 6 pipes are trash, they do like no damage on direct & the rollers tickle you.

The only reason the PS3 version still has 6 pipes is because it got like one update compared to 360, while the 360 got like 4+ updates.
