Back in the time before quickplay, there was a server host called Pinion. Pinion discovered a way to make their MOTD, which covers your entire screen and stops all gameplay, intrusively stall your gameplay with an unskippable 15-second ad every few minutes. This was before adblock was even really a thing, so nobody had even figured out how to make a TF2 equivalent yet. Pay for premium, go ad-free. More users paying for premium = more servers, meaning that real quick, the only servers that were ever full AND on the top of the server browser due to some font bullshittery were Pinion Pot O' Gold. This in turn likely was the driving force behind quickplay, because if there's one thing Valve can't stand, it's people making money off their product. As a result, custom servers, custom maps, cool gimmicks like TF2Ware, Prophunt, etc., and a lot of the god damned SOUL of TF2 were nixed in one shitty update where TF2 tried to "get with the times" and pretend to be like one of the innumerable contemporaries that can't go the distance. When we FINALLY have a postmortem of TF2 once the servers finally wheeze their last and the eastern european bastards who destroyed quickplay finally leave for some zoomer brand game, I will say as I always have: TF2 was killed by TF2's own community.

i can tell you that if you want to enjoy some mvm, at this point the best picks are the potato.tf servers, mann up (especially two cities) has mostly whales that want to grind as hard as reasonably possible for le aussies.
and boot camp is not even worth considering since nobody with a functioning brain plays there anymore.
 
There are now bots roaming casual spamming your basic bitch edgy micspam and linking a youtube channel. And it is more cringe inducing than anybody could have expected.

Tf2 bot hosts have been proven time and time again to be degenerates. Don't get why you're getting so bent over it.

Honestly his bots are super easy to dominate and I have never had any matches ruined by them. I like to imagine that I'm giving his smug robot avatar "correction" every time I kill one of his bots.
 
If you don't mind me asking....how do you "dominate them"? I might just be acting dumb but I see that as impossible. Also there was a moment where the bots starting using other classes other than the hacker's favorite Sniper class.

OmegaTronic's days are numbered

Those who don't know, OMEGATRONIC is the creator of one of the most notorious tf2 bots that spams every official server in quickplay with sniper bots for the most part that aimbot, micspam, send messages that have malicious links. There's also a person by the name "DoesHotter" that seems to be another bot, but I've not seen him much.

To give some context, Rick May, the voice for The Soldier, passed away in 2020. Valve honored this man and every April and May they have Soldier Statues that are placed in official maps to honor him for his performance. Many people made tribute pieces and have done so over the years.

Meet "The Informant", someone who has managed to talk with some Source engineers (not affiliated with Valve nor partnered) who have privately revealed a way to essentially grab IPs from bots.

The pinterest and tiktok seem to match, the former being full of FNAF collections and the tiktok literally including FNAF in the username with the same monitor avatar. The deviantart is probably a mismatch as it's a hyper furry artist, and with this poor level of OpSec that would have certainly leaked over onto pinterest. Pretty embarassing if TF2 is genuinely getting fucked by russian FNAF fans.
