A gaggle of Michigan public school staffers are facing some serious detention after being caught on video happily discussing which students they would rather have sex with, marry or kill.

The teachers and at least one secretary from Bangor High School can be overheard naming the students — including special-needs kids — as they played the lewd game at a local gin joint, according to a six-minute video filmed by a customer and posted to YouTube.

“Oh, I would f—k [student’s name],” a woman can be heard saying in the clip.

A man at the table is heard identifying the three students he would “bone,” “marry” and “kill.”

“I would totally marry [student’s name] because she likes the Tigers and she never even brought up that I was wasted on the bus trip … she can keep secrets,” another man says.

I'm not saying what they did wasn't wrong, but I know that most of us, at least as high schoolers, would've really appreciated our teachers more if they hung out at bars with us and interacted as equals.

My mom has some stories from when she taught HS and would occasionally bump into students with fake IDs at bars.

Shit, this isn't news. The bar around d the corner from my house used to be the Teacher's hot spot for Margarita Mondays. They used to have a suicide Deadpool for the Seniors (at least three attempts and one completion every year) and who would OD, who would get arrested during class, and who would get knocked up. They also had bets on who would end up missing Graduation ceremonies because their pregnancy showed too much (this was the early 2000's so they didn't walk the heavily pregnant back then).

How is this news? I mean, teachers are PEOPLE. People do stupid shit. Even my friends and I have the whole "Fuck, Marry, Kill" conversation s on high schoolers. It happens. Expecting teachers to be above this shit is just..... stupid and unrealistic.

I doubt very many parents of a 14 year old girl (or boy for that matter) would really be pleased at all to hear her supposed teachers talk about how they'd commit child molestation on her.

They were probably playing the wrong game in public, that's for sure, but deep down inside how is that any different than what the students do? There's always a teacher you hate, one you'd wanna bone...this seems like a case of wrong place, wrong time.

As parent of a (almost) 14 year old girl, it would piss me the fuck off. I would have a lot to say, at very loud volumes to them. BUT. Teachers are people. People are stupid. Drunk people are even stupider. If I heard someone talking about my kid like that, I would be Soooo pissed off, but I wouldn't be up in arms like "TEACHERS NEED TO BE ABOVE THIS SHIT! HOW COULD THEY!!!" I have worked at schools for most of my life. Putting a teacher up on a pedestal is going to cause problems. Expecting g them to be more then human causes problems. Treating teachers like they should be more then human or above this kind of shit causes huge issues.

I'm not saying they're Satan. I'm just saying they're kind of shit and probably need to be at the very least disciplined because doing shit like this is one thing, and actually getting caught at it pretty much undermines your reputation to the point you're going to be unable to be an effective teacher any more.

Hell, we have a whole thread on @Mikemikev that has existed for a couple hundred pages now just to mock him for once saying he was attracted to 15 year olds.

Exactly. I have worked with so many teachers that had absolutely no business working with kids. No patience, hated kids, was short tempered, etc. But the good teachers make people idealize the teaching profession, as a sort of..... calling akin to the priesthood almost. Yeah, teachers more then likely should be above this shit, but they arent. No one is really.

The bad teachers here (california) get "Desked" when they misbehave. They are transfered to the District Office and placed in a desk job, with little to no direct contact with parents and students. They aren't fired. Hell, it takes longer to get a death row con killed then it takes to fire a teacher completely. But, it takes a LOT to get a teacher Desked. A teacher was arrested with students in her car, drunk as hell, driving them home. The students ca.led the cops after she had hit a car and drove off. She was Desked. This was her 4th DUI. I really wish the Teacher's Union would fuck off. Really.

Getting drunk on your off hours and saying wildly inappropriate things is one of those things where I don't actually care if you do it. Just don't get caught doing it.
