This thread merging pleases my autism.
On topic, though- imagine being so god damned narcissistic that you film yourself saying how great it would be to make people stand outside and wait. That they'll just LOVE feeling oppressed. (Which, to be fair. A lot of people on tumblr DO like being oppressed. but we all know that's not what Tana means) And then still be exceptional enough to claim that you're a victim.
Tana does that shit all the time. She filmed herself screaming "nigger" at people. She filmed herself telling idubbbz to break both his legs. )And then cried that she had no idea what she did wrong to idubbbz) She filmed herself making up blatant shit about the "say nigger" incident.
At least we can take comfort in that Tana tanked her own career with her own narc exceptionalism.
I was annoyed with Shane's continued biased watching part 3 until he added the "1 week later" clip. His deeper digging into the actual contracts and figures was appreciative. And he stated it was both Tana's and Weist's fuck ups.
I still can't get over the clips of Tana saying it would be cool to have people waiting outside to get in. Okay some people may enjoy that, but would the majority of people be okay with that? In the heat? In the middle of the summer? And a large chunk of her fanbase are children?
She may not have known exactly how everything would have played out, but she cosigned on so much shit and never followed through with FINAL checks behind Weist.
To be fair, Tana's a bit of an exceptional individual in the literal sense. Runs with an awful idea or lies to other people (herself included), and it takes so long for her to realize what a terrible mistake she's made. Hell, it's only when shit hits the fan and blows up in her face that she comes to realize her fuck up. Afterward, she cries about it like a child and pleads for Captain Hindsight to show up.
Neither Tana nor Michael are willing to take any sort of personal responsibility for all of the awful mistakes that were made. This whole mess can be seen as a sinking ship: Rather than have the two captains sink with it, they try to use one-another as a life-raft to keep themselves afloat, only to drown the other in the process.
