So, why is this chick popular in the first place? There are plenty well-groomed chatterbox white girls on Youtube already. Why would she stand out from the herd? I thought maybe she was a singer but I can't find any videos of her performing or showing off any talent.

When I saw he was going to draw them I expected Idubbbz fucking Tana with a toothbrush.

And she must have known if not for this drama she would have been irrelevant except for being the butt of those youtuber overexaggeration jokes (which started out as specifically mocking her videos, IIRC)

I had literally never heard of her, which is mind-blowing considering she has millions of subscribers.

She's also the first person that, even in clips, made me think, "Jesus fucking CHRIST can you stop screaming at me." Like does she think it's funnier? Does she think the audio won't pick up or something? Is that just what twelve-year-old-girls want, to see some slightly-older chick (who is the roughest-looking 18-year-old I've ever seen, if that is in fact her real age) yell at them about some nonsense?

I think it's a matter of, when people normally tell stories to their friends or whatever, their friends will laugh or interject and even the storyteller will be laughing so their inflection will change and theyll get a bit louder. And comedy shows, and shit like that, they have laugh tracks at the punchline, and the comedian will start speaking louder over the laugh track. She's doing that, but there's no laugh track and she's not really that funny.

Not thirstposting, but I dont think she looks rough for 18. She looks and acts like a dumb child. Basically Justin Bieber before he got arrested all those times, or whatever happened that had him come to Jesus where he's building hurricane shelters for Haitians out of upcycled, post-consumer Globalist industrial waste products, like metal shipping containers, or old freight train cars.

I've watched plenty of other YouTubers tell stories and they managed to not make me feel like I was being assaulted with words. The whole idea behind "story time" YouTubers is they're supposed to make you feel like you're listening to a friend tell a story, but what Tana has failed to do is come up with stories that people might actually want to hear, and not mundane, everyday shit that aren't even funny when embellished. That and she yells everything like people are interrupting her, when she's in a room alone.

Even as outlandish as some of the stories that, say, someone like Olan Rogers tells, he manages to take you there with him. At least for the duration of the video, you could totally buy that he faced off with a raccoon in his family's garage wielding only a hockey stick. Or, Hell, the entirety of Mike Falzone's "Real Things I've Heard People Say This Week" series. Even if it isn't true, you don't give a shit because the premise of it is entertaining.

A story like "I got in an argument this one time" or "a flight attendant was a bitch to me" aren't that funny because, while relatable, they're mundane. Slapping a clickbait thumbnail and title on it won't change that.
 
Sure, Im actually not big into youtube videos like that. I was just under the impression her videos were popular because it would be kind of like some ersatz version of sitting at the popular girl's table in high school, and so it met my expectations--which werent very high. I actually dont watch her videos at all outside of the iDubbbz one so I mean I dont know too much about it.

But I can understand that other people do it better, and are more successful or famous for it, or have more interesting stories--being an actual good storyteller is a skill. She's more like a bad talk radio host or a Late Night Talk Show host with no guests so all she has are kind of mundane stories and jokes.
 
Tana severely overestimated her own oppression points. She picked a fight with Edups hoping to stir the socjus hornets nest to boost her viewership, but being a cis white woman with a history of racist statements and documented lies made it so that absolutely no one was interested in her "smoll courageous girlwoman calls out intimidating evil man for racism" narrative.
 
Jesus, she's only 18?? I know it's been said, but that is a ROUGH 18. Holy shit, I thought she was like 25 at least
 
Her apology video didnt help shit since she even fucked that one up(Jump cut,monetization,trying to play the victim game and vaguely explaining herself).Her image took a shot,her channel took a shot and her credibillity too.
 
It's medical proven that you're dumber at 18 than you are at 25. She's stupid and doesn't know how the world works. But goddamn if I didn't laugh my fucking nuts off at her making it sounds like iDubbbz ran into her show swinging a chainsaw over his head, screaming "NIGGER" over and over.
 
Why the fuck did she think it was a good idea to get involved in this sort of thing anyway?
 
I like her very plausible and not at all made up stories about her stalker who is able to sneak into her house and change which direction her blinds are facing or upset her dog, and never gets caught even though the police supposedly know who he is and he has been in prison.
