Dunno if this even matters to any you, but I'm gonna post this just for archiving purposes, before and during the premiere the newest video was called "MLP: Pinkie Pie Participates in a Joke-Off" but has been changed to "MLP: Sunny Starscout meets Twilight Sprakle".

I haven't used the live chat in probably over a year now, even before the pony videos there was a huge uptick in the amount of annoying faggots fighting for his attention. Glad to see him still tell people off.

Are you sure this isn't automated somehow? It's not a secret the pony videos get a lion's share of his views, Tamers content is even popping up in the youtube recommended section if you click on "indie" pony content.

It's 100% a clickbait move, he set it up thinking he'd troll people that hate the latest failed MLP gen only for everyone to figure it out anyway based off a single lighthouse in the thumbnail; this is just him setting the actual name/thumbnail hours afterward.

Nope, first of all the titles have to be custom made, and second of all some of the pictures have been taken from specific parts of the video that I really doubt youtube would pick out by random, especially in the case of Chrysalis, where the screen featuring her has been resized as well.

I watched the OG Sonic Underground solely because of Tamers and ended up agreeing with his takes on the show.

From The Official Documentory (The Five Major Errors), the bitchen comeback happens when Knuckles shows up iirc and the legend era is his own canon. Is pretty dope to hear what he has to say about the show itself and is something the pony heathens will never know.
 
Tamers pony videos are actually pretty good when it's his style of humor. The bit at the end where the red horse held up the "welcome home racists" sign got me.

It's just starting to turn into unironic fanfiction at this point. That one conversation with the umbrella felt like something that'd probably just be on the show.

They’ve been hit or miss for me. These last couple have been mid and the Soarin and Braeburn movie was painful to sit through in hindsight. On the other hand, Death of Twilight Sparkle was absolute kino, and Twilight Shows Trixie The True Meaning of Friendship, Unicorn Con, and Twilight Commits Arson were really good.

The best stuff is when it's a Sonic Underground esque plotline but with ponies where everyone is a retarded sociopath that lacks any kind of speech filter.

Fluttershy thinking she's Chinese because she's yellow is a pure gold concept. An episode unironically devolving into Tumblr esque melodrama is nearly unwatchable.

You can tell when tamers directs a scene and when the girl who draws the anime style art directs one from the writing alone.

I can no longer tell if the situation is Tamers (the only Tamers) having such a love of shipping and romance plots that he gets lost in the sauce, or if Tamers has some kind of Homo Ono hijacking his projects to inject romantic garbage into it.

Well according to himself in the interview he works alone and he writes the scripts (at least regular episodes) within a day.

Here's what I think happened:

Tamers clearly works with a couple other artists to help speed up production and bounce ideas off of.

One of these artists is the anime girl. Her art is well received and nets the videos more views, especially her sexualized art of Flora and Aleena.

She likely suggests and is the main force behind the pony crossover episode. This gets a ton of views and attention in the brony community, so Tamers starts making pony videos to capitalize off this. Seeing how talented she is at getting views, he gives anime girl more control over these episodes and he tells her to write what she wants, as she understands what this new audience wants more than he does.

Unfortunately for us, what anime girl wants is to write unironic gay anime romance instead of a Sonic Underground style sitcom. You can see some of her romance stuff in SU episodes, but it was so sparse and no sequitur that it was funny. Now it's practically a gay romance series with the occasional racist or fart joke.

I don't even bother watching the MLP ones now because when it's not a gay anime romance drama it feels like a bad clone of the already bad Friendship is Witchcraft vids where everything feels oddly hostile and full of that millenial "snarky asshole zany parody" humor, it's not worth my limited time in existence compared to the SU vids.

That's the person that I'm guessing is behind the anime style art in Tamers's videos.

It's a completely different style to the rest of the art in his videos and to me looks like a woman's style.

This is a guess, I don't know anything concrete about Tamers's production.
