No, Spec is arguably much worse. He was some faggot from /mlp/ that has a long history of grifting off popular pony content creators. At one point he got an interview scheduled with Shawn Keller, someone who worked on the MLP Movie and completely blew it. Regularly tried to bum money off the guy, begged him for free merch and shit, and would blow him off constantly when their actual interviews were scheduled then would get upset when the guy wouldn't cancel important meetings to talk to him, showed the guy porn form some pony booru on a live stream, and so much more. Eventually the guy completely left working on anything pony related because of him. Recently he's been trying to grift off Tamers. He's in some tamers discord I was lurking in where he regularly brags about trying to interview tamers and "wearing him down" into eventually joining a call with him when Tamers has told him multiple times he's not interested. He is a complete tool and I wish he would do everyone a favor and kill himself already.

I can't tell if Tamers is getting worn down or not, I know spec gloated about getting him to rp on fucking Pony Town so it could be worse than publicly known.

When i saw the first MLP vid i had this as a weird fear. It seems odd to have dread about something like this but iv been watching since near the start and i feel displaced in something i have profound interest in.

Nothing really, besides just acting like a faggot in the live chats and answering questions for tamers instead of just letting him respond. He's annoying but he's not really a big deal.

I don't think he is, he's made it pretty clear he doesn't want to actually talk with anyone as he values his privacy. I'm just repeating what Spec said himself. My friend sent tamers a message on patreon warning him about spec with screenshots of a bunch of shit he's said and tamers response was more or less "He's a liar I do not talk to this person don't know why he's telling people this stuff. I've sent him maybe 6 messages total." He's just a weird lying faggot trying to use tamers for clout while he's still relevant in pony circles.

He is Tamers' #1 fan and makes it extremely apparent to everyone at all times. He also makes dumb requests of Tamers while spamming his live chat, like asking if he'd ever take commissions or draw Aleena rule 34 art.
 
Just finished skimming through the thread. I can definitely understand the sentiment where this guy seemed like a throwback to the old days when people would make fun of DeviantArt autists that were otherwise mysterious.

I'm actually surprised how this guy even amassed an unironic fandom in the same vein as Tails Gets Trolled. I've even seen a fair number of Flora PFPs on her.

I'm especially surprised Cybershell helped with gatekeeping his videos by locking his video behind Patreon. Shame what's happening to Tamers right now, though.

Flora is a pretty enjoyable character. Her initial appearance was one-note, but she's been fleshed out ever since to better blend in with the insanity of the existing cast. All this happened without Tamers ever being compelled to make the series into The Flora Show™, which I've seen ruin a lot of other works once the creator realizes a character has endeared itself to their audience.

I'll also use this post to say that Sonia is seriously underrated. She basically carries half of Knux's and Flora's dynamic in the series and is a good foil for Sonic, Manic and Aleena. She is probably the single best-written character in the show, simply because of how effectively she plays with everyone else. She can be a straightman, silly or alternate effortlessly. If you want to figure out why Tamers is so appreciated, study the nuance he uses with Sonia.
