I'm going to say this. I don't believe in 'ironic' enjoyment of stuff. When I come here to meme with you guys, or the threads in /co/mlbr or do watch parties, I do it because I legit like what Tamers makes.
I haven't played a single Sonic game, never read a Sonic comic and only ever watched a couple episodes of Sonic Boom. My entire frame of reference for this franchise is the community. Characters turning into Rouge, the Shadow-Sonic toilet, Tails sitting on a bench, Sonic vs Rule 34, Coldsteel, Ken Penders, I can't outrun the pain. To me Sonic is just a way to witness a large conglomerate of people act in autistic ways. Tamers and also Lazerbot have my utmost respect because even at their lowest they actually managed to create something that has kept people talking for over a decade in two completely different mediums.
I don't watch Tamers' content because is an elaborate fanfic of a very specific ship from a show that only exists as memes, but because of the lore he has created around it. He took the most irrelevant installment of a largely laughed at franchise and turned into a fucking saga that when you think about it almost exclusively revolves around his original creations in stories that aren't even that ridiculous in concept. Thanksgiving dinner, let's go to the county fair, school events, trips to cheap fast food joints and dollar stores, remakes of movies every poor person in America has seen, and then he makes them about a prophecy to save the world through butt fucking that is so over the top it could only arouse the most coombrained and bounces into being funny for anyone else.
There's a reason why Tamers has never achieved the same level of fame and infamy as Sonichu and Tails Gets Trolled: we've gate-kept him from the masses because most people won't ever give a Sonic sperg the benefit of the doubt again. No one looks beyond appearances to check if Tamers does anything but autistically play with his toys and make them sexually harass each other. Look, I specialise on archiving and summarising a retard with massive arrested development in another board obsessed with Garfield that has fans that swear you just have to sit through six hours of his ramblings to see how he is actually a genius, so I know from experience there's an autistic charm that will forever remain elusive to the greater Internet.
Tamers isn't a lolcow, his stuff isn't for everyone, you have to be in a very specific headspace to enjoy what he does. He knows it and his fans do too. You can choose to mald over the fact he exists or allow it his tiny corner in the Internet where he is king. That's why we have the Kiwi Farms, to see what fascinates us, to marvel at it and discuss it. There are lolcows that toe the same line as Tamers but are lolcows and the main thing that keeps Tamers on his own lane is that he isn't desperate for approval, acting like he is better than he is or doing anything truly reprehensible.
The Internet is full of quirky people and the main thing that keeps us from cowdom is how we react to other people finding those quirks.
