Any advice for running Dragon Heist? Just started a group and had session 0, they're all somewhat memey characters but a lot of work has been put into them. Large group but it should be fine.

I should, shouldn't I.Add an actual dragon and heist.
if you never actually written it down, you could make it a bad pun with a german dude named dragon: https://dict.leo.org/german-english/heißtI should, shouldn't I.
Until you start carrying around portable holes and bags of holding. Not a good idea to carry one of those into it.If you want invincible nap time for your arcane casters in 3.5, Rope Trick from level 8 onwards would fit your needs. Fucking off to a pocket dimension whose entrance is safe even from most divination spells is a lot safer than making a magical force structure on the material plane. If your party has to many heads, prepare 2 of them, at level 8 you aren't using your level 2 spells in combat much for the most part(If you are a spontaneous caster with the Versatile Mage feat you can just burn up 4 level 1 spell slots instead). It's perfect for dungeons and caves crawling with monsters.
Hmmm. This is something I've pulled out of my ass and I'm imagining it way too much like a computized D&D game but, lets say there are 2 kingdoms or factions. Call them by their banners Red Lions vs Green Dragons. The players work for the Red Lions. Their objective is to find various caches of weapons, spells and armor held by the Green Dragons and raid them. One such place is a fortress that holds a few powerful artifacts guarded by a fairly large dragon - they are kept here because the green dragons want to enhance the enchantments on them further.Any advice for running Dragon Heist? I don't know why these sorts of questions broke my years-long streak of anonymously lurking like a pervert, but here goes--From lots of people said:Any advice for running X?
I'd volunteer @Adamska for it, but I think he and his crew have had enough wading through the mire of "sassy queer" Powered by the Apocalypse bullshit.Thirsty Sword Lesbians is out in time for pride month and who is willing to take one for the team for it?
"Let's take a bad thing and make it worse!"I'd volunteer @Adamska for it, but I think he and his crew have had enough wading through the mire of "sassy queer" Powered by the Apocalypse bullshit.
I think a lot of it is simply having a platform, or being able to claim your a game designer on Twitter. It feels like there are games that are just the maker's personal therapy than actual games and in this one it's about being gay and Asian.
Hasn't it been out a while? I think I read it before.Thirsty Sword Lesbians is out in time for pride month and who is willing to take one for the team for it?
I thought that lesbians were supposed to not be thirsting for swords.Thirsty Sword Lesbians is out in time for pride month and who is willing to take one for the team for it?
That's true, the Guillotine was used to execute Olympe De Gouges after she tried to reinstate the monarchy.I thought that lesbians were supposed to not be thirsting for swords.
Based on a preview document, that game is like a case study in penis-envy.I thought that lesbians were supposed to not be thirsting for swords.
We read bad RPG books and go through splats as a hobby. I, and I suspect pretty much all of us, ain't fucking paying money for a book like that.I'd volunteer @Adamska for it, but I think he and his crew have had enough wading through the mire of "sassy queer" Powered by the Apocalypse bullshit.
So the characters will be terribly written, caricatures that would be seen as offensive if written by anyone else, probably racist too for assuming all immigrants are poor brown people who no speak English, and it will be as obnoxiously written as the Meatpunks one.You know you're in for a good time when the publisher copypastas the no bigots allowed seeth into the reviews. I am honestly under the impression that this is the most important block of text to modern day tabletop RPG "developers". A lot of people in this industry aren't even trying to subvert expectations to maybe come out with something brilliant. Rather they follow the flow and do what everyone else is doing so they can say they wrote something "brave" instead.

Don't forget the conflict will be dull and toothless at best.So the characters will be terribly written, caricatures that would be seen as offensive if written by anyone else, probably racist too for assuming all immigrants are poor brown people who no speak English, and it will be as obnoxiously written as the Meatpunks one.
Lovely.
Okay, I'm skimming through and it's very clear that there is actually no plot or setting. It's literally just "make up swashbuckling so you can do awful marvel quotes and kiss the evil witch".Don't forget the conflict will be dull and toothless at best.
