@Adamska I've recently acquired more RPG if you need anything for videos. Including a fucked up series with obese furry dick girls which is probably one of the most disgusting books out there and a few Feminism books.
Yeah, bust those fuckers out at some point (probably Friday, since I'll be out for Turkey Day reasons soon).

So out of curiosity, what is the dick girls one called?

Game is called FAPP.

I only just heard that it was a game recently, also heard that Offbeatr was a thing. My faith in humanity continues to plummet.

I'll upload them to volafile tomorrow and send you the link.

Anyone have suggestions to get players to actually role play a bit? Tired of having to goad them with "so, whats your character doing?"

Ask them how they're doing certain things. In one of my campaigns, it's expected for you to describe what it looks like when your character casts a new spell for the first time. I think that's a bit much to ask for players who have to be pushed into actually role playing but the idea is the same. For example, a player says "I ask the inn keeper if there's anything interesting going on." respond with "okay, what do you say?" etc etc.

Alternatively, get better players.

Get them arrested for a crime they didn't commit and have them put on trial.

So i wanna write a oneshot based on my favourite anime Gloryhammer.
anybody an idea what system is best for spaceknights, astral dwarfs and shit?

5e has a simple mechanic to get players roleplaying. Grant inspiration when they describe their combat more than "I move 30' and attack." Grant inspiration when they roleplay what their character does. Let inspiration reward them for good rp, and encourage use of it. Rerolling a die roll isn't really that overpowered compared to someone casting Time stop, in the long run.

So you have TONS of options in 5e

One basic one is Downtime/Backgrounds

give them ways to get something cool if they do something related to their background or "You could make a plus one sword but you need to get x,y, and z" and tell them they need to convince the rest of the team to help

Inspiration and Hero points are two other ideas (hero points are optional)

give them advantage on certain roles based on rping

The answer is always GURPS.
Perfect System.jpg

But un-ironically if you want to use GURPS I can help you build it out.

You mean that mashup thing with mechas (I'm getting nothing at all from the name besides that dude)? Mekaton Zeta would be your thing I think.

Sorry about the wait, but we lost the initial recording and Turkey Week made us not realize it until now.

But yeah, that's Wraeththu in a nutshell.
