So who here plays these? Some of us here on the forums have a D&D game, I also play Pathfinder on weekends and this weekend we will be playing Call of Cthulhu. I might post some stories later.

I play and GM a bit. Mostly i GM Kult and Degenesis but right now I'm just playing in a Pendragon Campaign (we even made "campaign of the month"
https://oath-of-crows.obsidianportal.com).

Any kiwis intrested in Kult?

I played my first game of DnD a week or so ago. DM'ed by a friend who's always wanted to DM, with a couple other people who never played and 1 person who is a regular at DnD games.

I believe we were playing 5th Edition.

My character is a human Monk who uses a rope meteor hammer. And his name is Feng Shui. LOL

I almost backed it on Kickstarter, how is it?
The setting has always been great and from the small snippets released it seems to continue that way. It can get a bit edgy at times but when you cut away the 90s cheese it's really fun. The system has always been a problem though; clunky and confusing.

I am a Changeling: The Lost faggot, and I'm only slightly ashamed.
I've only played one long Changeling campaign but that was great fun. What are you playing?

I'm only in a 5e game and a PF game as is.

5e's kinda bland, but at least I'm useful. In the PF game I'm almost entirely useless, though that's more because everyone else is powerful in comparison.

Savage Worlds is my go-to system when running games for my usual group.

A homebrew using New Worlds of Darkness is my preferred system when playing with people actually intelligent.

I liked Fate for a while but I'm kind of burnt on it. It's got a few glaring weaknesses which just keep getting more and more obvious.

I like playing D&D and Pathfinder but I would never run a game in it.

Several times I've seen Kiwis advertise online games and as fun as it sounds I'm usually a hard pass. I can't stand playing TTRPGs online.

I love RPG's personally and have been playing them since I started with D&D 3.5 when I was thirteen.

D&D and Pathfinder are both awesome, but I also am a fan of Big Eyes Small Mouth and especially the World of Darkness (both Classic and New, though I do not care for the newer "Chronicles of Darkness" material put out by Onyx Path).

The downside of being a WoD fan is that it is difficult to find a good group for it. WoD and nWoD/CofD has one of the shittiest fanbases overall in tabletop gaming and it doesn't help that Onyx Path is run by SJW's and the new White Wolf is run by a petulant Swedish edgelord LARP'er who cosplayed as Dracula in the V20 book.

I might start a play-by-post campaign for either Vampire: The Masquerade 1st Edition (my favorite edition of Vampire) or D&D 5E sometime soon. I'll try to find a forum to host it, as I'm pretty sure Kiwi Farms doesn't have a space for play-by-post role-playing games.

Like you, I'm a major WoD fangirl, though I prefer old WoD. But I do like the nWoD version's of Hunter and Changling more. I can understand your feelings on SJW stuff in the games. It was a groaner when they had this side section on gender in the v20 Mage: The Ascension and "How Did You Do That?" that validated those alternate gender identities and mentioned how the Technocracy is accepting of these things. When in reality they would be laughing their asses off at such notions. Also, despite their best efforts, Heroes in Beast: The Primordial (otherkin the RPG) are still more likable than the Beasts are (even after the massive edit, the Beasts still come off as douchebags).

Otherwise, I would be interested in 1st edition V:TM game session (though I'm more used to 2nd and revised).

I like 1e and 2e VTM over Revised because I don't like VTM's metaplot, especially in Revised. It was too railroading and intrusive. I like my Gangrel in the Camarilla and my Ravnos to be a full clan.

And I agree that Beast: The Primordial is utter shit.

Probably why Deviant: the Renegades is taking forever to get out of 1st draft/Dev. Which given its premise it will be a tire fire too, Brookshaw should just stick with mage.
The thing with the plot to Deviant seems pretty similar to Changeling: The Lost. Kidnapped or sometime voluntary Mortals who were changed by a greater force into something inhuman. They have emotional and psychical scars from it, are hiding and want revenge. Though the difference is the Changelings will vary their recovery from enjoying their lives (desire), simply hiding (sadness), fighting back (anger) or preventing others from falling into the same trap (fear).

I'm playing as Stradly, a level six terrible fire sorceror.
