That's actually a refreshing take on it, because it lays bare that this shit truly only exists to turn us into corporate fodder. It's dripping with cynicism and I'm here for it.View attachment 5232498

I can't stand Pride Month but I'd 100% wear a shirt with this on it next year:

If I could get it without having to custom order it myself, anyway.

Wouldn't surprise me if this was the case in W5 at this point; Pentex putting gay shit out just for the sake of trolling thefaggotswolves is something I could honestly see in W5.
I do find it funny how Pentex has more in common with "current year" devs and shit than the "evil greedy right-wing fascists" that the writers try to portray them as. Constantly trying to corrupt everything and all that, plus with how the fags really seem to think that becoming a corporate drone for the sake of "muh dieversity" is really great... while simultaneously trying to pull a doublethink and state that the political right are the "greedy, freedom-hating bad guys". It does make me wonder how they're going to try and handle them in W5, though. Not like anyone really knows at this point; everyone seems to be obsessed with "Gets = Nazis" and "old fans are evil, current year fans are good" and shit like that: https://forum.theonyxpath.com/forum...1518037-explanation-why-fenrir-were-cut/page4
Yeah, like @Corn Flakes said; this is a pretty solid look at how gendercult shit is designed to make everyone into drones.

I love the fluff talks about people getting fucked when their gender subscriptions end because the corpos drop support. That's actually a refreshing take on it, because it lays bare that this shit truly only exists to turn us into corporate fodder. It's dripping with cynicism and I'm here for it.
Needs "everyone's getting fucked" below it.I can't stand Pride Month but I'd 100% wear a shirt with this on it next year:

I was all set to rage but that's actually the most cyberpunk way to handle that. Its only missing a pronoun generator. Also as an Attack Helicopter (Apache/Apacheself) I find the lack of missile racks and blue-force tracking as gender expressions triggering and othering.

As soon as humanity has the technology to completely swap around their bodies, I have no doubt there's all sorts of freaky shit that's gonna go on, so sci-fi settings having people running around with dicknipples doesn't particularly rock my boat. Corporations using body mods/cyberware to keep their customers on the hook forever also makes perfect sense to me; they would absolutely pull that shit. I'd suspect that for Cyberpunk or Shadowrun or whatever, the implants characters get are definitely jailbroken grey-market stuff, while going into the mall and buying an arm off the shelf gets you a load of lifetime subscription fees and spyware.
Honestly I feel like weird gender shit will dissipate the second that functional body modification becomes viable. A lot of these people will just wire themselves up with a coom button and then die of starvation a few weeks later, whereas others will channel their autism and dysphorias into turning into Blade Wolf.As soon as humanity has the technology to completely swap around their bodies, I have no doubt there's all sorts of freaky shit that's gonna go on, so sci-fi settings having people running around with dicknipples doesn't particularly rock my boat.

Tranny shit is money for medical & pharmas. You are a paypig for horsepiss for life. They can change their mind after a coupel years but once they take the balls they're going to be taking some sort of hormone cocktail until they die. If you are only looking at a corporate balance sheet, its amazing - lifetime customers.Yeah, I'd say that this is probably the most interesting depiction of gendercult stuff in cyberpunk I've seen yet; the troons want to rely so much on corps and think that, since the corps clearly support trooning out then they MUST be their allies... only to get completely fucked once the money runs out and the corps promptly leave them to rot on the streets.
It's an interesting and refreshing take, I agree; looking forward to where the game goes in the future!
Hey, if my choices are attack helicopter or murderous wolfbot with chainsaw blades, I know what I'm identifying as.Honestly I feel like weird gender shit will dissipate the second that functional body modification becomes viable. reminds me of the study where the pharma industry was already rubbing their hands that by 2030 or so the whole field of trooning out people could be worth billions. can't find it a&n anymore....Yeah, I'd say that this is probably the most interesting depiction of gendercult stuff in cyberpunk I've seen yet; the troons want to rely so much on corps and think that, since the corps clearly support trooning out then they MUST be their allies... only to get completely fucked once the money runs out and the corps promptly leave them to rot on the streets.
Swords for killing peasants, mancatchers/bolas/nets for capturing slaves, and whips for keeping them in line.Meanwhile, whenever there's a right-wing character in pretty much any game, they... really aren't given much. Seriously, the one weapon type that any right-wing caricature is consistently given is guns, which isn't even a unique choice in the setting most of the time. That's assuming that any potential right-wing characters show up at all; some games like Coyote & Crow have all of the "evil white people" get nuked and trapped in a frozen wasteland for over 500 years while the rest of the world gradually turns into aLovecraftianCyberpunkDystopiaUtopia.
Really stupid question right the fuck out of nowhere - I'm actually expecting several Dumb reactions from this - but I was needing to ask you guys about something; basically, for tabletop stuff in general, what do you guys think would be humanity's/"the evil white man's" weaponry of choice would be?
To elaborate: I've noticed how, in various wokeshit tabletop settings, that different groups tend to favor different types of weaponry. For instance, furfags (Hc Svnt Dracones, FAPP, Fursona) usually gravitate towards either anime shit (scythes, dual katanas), or warcrime shit (chemical weapons). Meanwhile, Neopagans (Otherverse: America) tend to use plenty of magic up to and including summoning monsters, tarot readings, and generally spitting in the face of Christians whenever possible. And so on.

I bring this up, because several of the people in my crew were wanting some ideas for a few games that we were planning on running; including some WoD stuff and even that remixed version of C&C we were working on a while back. It was going to be a few games with 8 people in them, and we didn't want everyone using guns, fun as though that would have been; we wanted a few options for every situation, instead of "all the guns, all the time". We still have a few recommendations from the old C&C posts; anyone have any others?
Swords for melee. Either longswords/arming swords if the chud in question is more of a Crusader, or sabers if we're going with Conquistadors. For ranged, either crossbows or single-shot/early semi-auto rifles. Oh, and anything with a toggle-lock system. The more German-looking, the chuddiest.Really stupid question right the fuck out of nowhere - I'm actually expecting several Dumb reactions from this - but I was needing to ask you guys about something; basically, for tabletop stuff in general, what do you guys think would be humanity's/"the evil white man's" weaponry of choice would be?

What bothers me about this is that pandering to chuds or commies is bad. Of the two, this is the most cyberpunk way to do it, but it would've been better to just ignore it entirely.from the nearly released osr cyberpunk thing Cities Without Number
Outside of weaponry, there was a Twitter thread during the early days of AI art that created the nations of the world as villains. Might be worth a look for inspiration.for tabletop stuff in general, what do you guys think would be humanity's/"the evil white man's" weaponry of choice would be?

For melee weapons, halberds and other axe-style hacking polearms. Not exactly a ten-foot pole, but a six foot one is a nice compromise. As a formation weapon it relies upon the white man's uniformity, as a mostly defensive weapon his inexorable, unstoppable approach as he grinds you down, and its pragmatism and simplicity his uncaring brutalism and lack of imagination.
