Although the dude is right about the definition of Sword and Sorcery, arguing about it in youtube comments is also dumb.

That being said, the more I've thought about it the more I hope the movie does really well. Even if it's a shit story I hope it makes enough money to get the ball rolling on a trend of shitty fantasy movies. I love shitty fantasy movies.
 
Been playing Cyberpunk Red for quite a few months with my usual group and i'm getting pretty annoyed since one on the group made a tranny character and everyone in the party is pandering to him every time something mildly bad happens. And since i'm the only one that doesn't do it everyone is extremely disdainful of me even if i'm the only combat specialist.

Pretty tiresome tbh.

Misgender the tranny. Kill the tranny. then ensure the deadname actual name is on the tombstone. It is the only way.
If you're the only combat specialist, you should be able to kill the tranny and any member of the party who tries to stop you.

I doubt i would be able to kill the tranny since it's me vs 6 other people if that would happen and i only have an assault rifle and a pistol. I already drop TIM constantly when referering to the character (Since my character doesn't know the deadname and most likely will never know it).

Plus, people will defend the tranny with their lives since it's the healer of the group and even if i have the uncanny luck of getting extremely good rolls in combat (I managed to kill a militech commander and a gang leader by myself and the only time i took damage in the game was when someone else missed a grenade toss), i know i would be in a world of hurt if i decided to mess with other 6 characters with no grenades and a netrunner that would constantly fuck with my vision because she treats the tranny as her only family now that her granny died.

I hope the master finally allows me to buy something. He has been saying "You will soon be able to buy things" but he's been taking us from place to place constantly and doing exposition. No chance to buy grenades or else i would have dropped them earlier. If i can i'll get 4 frags and 4 flash for good measure. After all, a retard in the group dropped a bag with a crapload of grenades (master allowed him to throw like 10 grenades in a single attack) and got a fail, blowing himself up in the process.

Even the party prevented me from murdering a black person when i have a "no loose ends" policy and that bit us in the ass later down the line. I hate it so much but they are also the only people i can play with.

There's always the possibility of setting up a gasleak in an abandoned building. Or setting a trap to a common place the tranny goes to. Get creative, think outside the box. Deal with it in a smart way.

Dilator with a virus injector.
Place a replicant that looks like small, vulnerable child in the street - when the tranny comes to molest it, run them down with a truck.
Or hire your own nethacker to loop "You'll never be a real woman" in its ear until it 41%s itself.

Unfortunately, tranny always stick with the group, specially among the all the other characters (since mine is the other male in the group). The only chances i might have are in the final confrontation bunker where i might be able to drop grenades in tight quarters to kill him, the netrunner and the two rockergirls (all the characters i truly loathe to death). Problem is that one of the rockergirls got the help of Morgan Blackhand and i might be deeply fucked if i decide to kill her.

But well, i will be up to go down in a blaze of glory if i can take them all down.

Now that looks damn nice, but since the netrunner in the group gets very good rolls every time she does hacking things, it might be a waste of money. I think the aplication of grenades might be the best solution.

I can bear with Cyberpunk tbh. If it wasn't for the party for being tiresome with their lengthy exposition of their ultraspecial characters and "I want to do this thing that is completely retarded and unreasonable", everything would go smoothly. What i truly dread is the next session since everyone wants to play Vampire and i already know since quite some time the game has turned to shit.

And on top of that, the master is a turbonormie girl that has showered everyone with enough facts of her setting that i loathe the prospect of playing (things like morgan freeman being the prince of the city, nick fury the sheriff, the CERN being a satanic vampire temple...) But at the same time i kinda wanted to play Dark Heresy but i bet they might bail out on me.

I doubt it'll start a trend, but if it somehow does this is the future you can expect. Current year politics, fanboys who've never played the game arguing about lore and demanding a Dark Sun movie, and consoomer bugmen who demand the films have quipy "ironic" dialogue, a shared universe, and forth wall breaking references.

I actually liked it, even with it's flaws - but like @Mr. Manchester I got a weak spot for fantasy movies, even if they're a bit shit. helps that there aren't that many to begin with.

sadly really overlooked movie, james purefoy just kills it in that role, I want that timelime where that movie got sequels instead of 10+ years of MCU.
