>MP and KD above four percent for the first time in months
>SD is still bigger than M
>S still the biggest party but 24,9 % is ridiculously low for a party that used to get 40-50 % of the votes once upon a time
>The "Red Green" bloc (40,4) is bigger than the Alliance (37,7)

What is so ironic about NMR is that they take pride in being übermenschen but at the same time they look more like untermenschen. I mean, just look at them:

The Nordic Resistance Movement (NMR) does indeed run in this election, but they used to claim to be strictly a "militant" organization and were opposed to elections in general.

The fact that the Party of the Swedes (SVP) called it quits some years ago seems to have led them to think they might have chance at glory.

SVP were more of a Cosplay/Hollywood Nazi outfit that went through all these word-salad name changes over the years, they started out as the National Socialist Front, then became the People's Front and used a logo that looked like it had been swiped from a refrigerator, then Party of the Swedes. They only received about 4000 votes in the general election of 2014 and dissolved after that.

The NMR are veteran nazis though, they are mostly the 3rd- and 4th-generation descendants of the OG Hitler Fan Club. NMR is a WEIRD outfit, even when compared to other european nazis. As I mentioned above, it's a "family business" and I think the prisons are their only real source of new recruits. They are very insular and cult-like and have effectively created a parallel society for themselves. They have some territorial imperative thing going on where they have clustered around the town of Ludvika. Their members tend to be rather incapable of creative thought and are somewhat dependent on having a boss nazi telling them what to think about things, since having personal opinions are "disloyalty to the movement" or something like that.

They are mostly interested in wearing uniform clothing and marching in formations with banners. Their party platform is all about the Jewish Question and racial purity, not so much anti-immigration.

Oh yeah, those guys. NMR was also involved in three bombings in 2017. Or three former members were, they seemed to break off from NMR because they were "pathetic", but some media say they were still members. They were cut from their cloth so it doesn't matter.

Anyway, they planted a couple of bombs.
1. At the gates of the Syndicalists forum. Wouldn't be Swedish nazis if they didn't take a swing at the syndicalists, no idea why they're so obsessed with them.
2. A caravan camping site that was (to be?) used as transit housing for immigrants, the bomb didn't go off.
3. At a temporary housing for immigrants, they placed the bomb next to a dumpster and some unlucky person got his legs blown to bits. It was a swede that worked there I think?

They placed the bombs at night so it didn't look like they were actively out to kill anyone, the bombs didn't seem to be all that powerful and the guy that got injured at the dumpster seemed unintended. They were probably building up their courage to actually start blowing people up, this could have been the "torture small animals" phase if they weren't caught.

I'll throw in some pictures:
This is what I found for the Syndicalist bombing:

This was the dumpster bombinb:

They were getting their feet wet, to see what they could get away with, they had access to dynamite so they could easily scale it up if they felt like going big.

The strength of the explosion can be compared to this, just some random chaos where yet another idiot tries to blow up a police station, the same year even, while their trial was going.

The NMR bombers can get deported to the bottom of the sea for all I care, but we have a ridiculous bombing/hand grenade/"banger"/molotov cocktail problem that needs to curbed and just like the NMR dudes all the perpetrators seem to get more brazen if they get away with it.

They look like a pretty decent cross-section of young Nordic men. I don't see any outward signs that alarm me, no sagging guts or excess fatty faces. A few of them look a bit jacked, but a lot of combat strength is in cardiovascular endurance which is hard to tell at a glance. Contrary to what action movies show, a lot of soldiers are not seven feet tall and covered in muscle!

If they have kept up with their PT and possess the will and discipline to fight, I estimate about 40 able bodied men in this picture. Just enough for a single rifle platoon, which doesn't sound like much I'll grant you, but you might be surprised what a ballsy lieutenant can do with a single platoon!

Nah, I wouldn't trust this cross-section of soy boy looking lads – 1/2 of whom have been convicted for crimes in the past and 1/10 of whom are welfare leechers – to defend my country, even if they were to stop being nazis overnight. It's not a matter of being ripe and covered in muscles; most of them just give off this incompetent drug addict vibe. They might last during short fights, but probably not in war. Our real armed forces don't even regard them as threatening in comparison to e.g. homecoming ISIS fighters (:powerlevel:at least according to my friend who did military service last year; his commandant outright stated at one point that the threat they posed was exaggerated by the media).

Seriously, when you're so afraid of immigrants and how they could make life more dangerous or turn terrorist and your big idea to combat that is to become terrorists yourselves that don't even refrain from bombing stuff, what exactly are you fighting for?

Sweden, as much as Germany, France and the UK needs to get their shit together and work together with the EU to create sensible immigration laws and start deporting or at least incarcerating those that do not deserve freedom of movement within Europe.
However terrorism, a civil war or crime isn't the way to do this. At worst, it'll make a lot of centralists sympathetic to the left rhetoric that sells them lies about IS members only fighting against western oppressive societies out of desperation.

See, I agree with you, but so far the EU seems more content to pretend absolutely nothing is wrong and implying we're all just racists for using common sense. A civil war, terrorism or crimes are absolutely not great solutions but if the state fails to protect you or your children, well...

They're all a bunch of idiots, if they all lined up tightly against each other they couldn't even organize a circle jerk.

Which ties into...

Our real armed forces don't even regard them as threatening in comparison to e.g. homecoming ISIS fighters (:powerlevel:at least according to my friend who did military service last year; his commandant outright stated at one point that the threat they posed was exaggerated by the media).

...they're largely too weak and incompetent to do anything, like your buddy says. And SÄPO(National Intelligence Service) agrees, they keep an eye on neo-nazis/white supremacists and groups like that. Their assessment is that as a group they don't have the numbers, they're too poor, too drunk, too dumb or too young(rebellious youth tend to grow out of it) to pose a real threat to the nations safety. The exception is when something like the NMR bombings happens on a larger scale, genuine terror attacks, but if some media is to be believed they had broken off from NMR(for being "pathetic") so they might be considered lone wolves. (I think I've seen something about SÄPO even doing surveillance on them while they planted the dumpster bomb that blew someone's legs to pieces)

The bombers had gone to Russia for some paramilitary training before they committed the deed. I wouldn't consider them harmless, but in comparison with the islamist they are the lesser threat.

But they had access to dynamite along with other tools and equipment, a military safari wasn't everything in their toolbox. It could've been much worse from the start but they were probably all bluster and had that tinge of suede where they don't actually want to hurt anyone because mom would be sad and the neighbor would look at them and know, so they pulled their punches and tried to build up to it, starting with "torturing small animals" as I called it.
If they wanted to they could've caused a lot of destruction, they had the means to do so.

I think two of the three just got 18 months for it and that's fucked up, the other guy got 8 years, but that's the justice system being broken as usual.

Are they trying to say Baldurs Gate?

It's a long shot but maybe they meant The Story of Thor: Beyond Oasis, the middle-eastern themed zelda-like for Mega Drive where you play as prince Ali fighting djinn and scorpions?

In general they should steer clear of video games, it never ends well. Back in 2004 or so they interviewed Maria Wetterstrand, the young new spokesperson for the Green Party(Miljöpartiet) and they had an angle where they tried to engage with the upcoming first time voters in more youthful ways and hey, she played video games so that could be a good sub-topic in an interview. Civilization 3 was her game and she seemed enthusiastic to talk about it. The game ran on a laptop so it was great when traveling, she then explained what the game was about and how it worked, the different ways of reaching a win condition and so on. The interviewer then made the mistake of asking if she played in a pacifist and environmentally sustainable way with a focus on diplomacy and the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme should have started playing right there.

Looking around for "Oden's Quest" I saw this that was kinda funny. Maybe one day the left can meme?

NMR update:
SÄPO(Swedish Security Service) busted another dude from NMR a while ago and the trial just concluded.
nmr1.JPG

It was this guy shooting a gun from a kicksled, very Northern.

He made this briefcase-gun thingie to maybe shoot a journalist. He had a list of two journalists but was acquitted of conspiracy to commit murder.
nmr2.JPG

Look at that thing. If a potato looking fella* akwardly aims a weird looking briefcase at someone, it then makes an exploding sound and someone falls down and screams about having been shot... it's not... thank god they're dumb. It looks like there's supposed to be a suppressor mounted in there but taking 20 minutes to look at a ForgottenWeapons video will teach anyone what a suppressor is and what it isn't(it will also teach you to call it a "suppressor" and not "silencer").

He got 2½ years for illegal possession of firearms, crimes against the law of electronic communication(???) and violations of "strålskyddslagen" which is the law covering radiation so he probably had a bunch of green lasers and not a coffee can full of plutonium. He should've gotten an extra year for living in the north and being that bad at woodworking.

edit: * potato confirmed

SÄPO is pretty effective at picking up people that are about to start trouble.

- more shit:

Update on KD(The Christian Democrats): They're gaining in the polls, it looked like they might not get the 3.0% needed to get into parliament and now they're polling as high as 6.0%.

The Sara Skyttedal thing(picture of her shooting a revolver) isn't the driving cause behind that but I made a mental note to check up on it in the future. It got some attention and made the media and other politicians attacking her look silly and regular people seemed to have fun on Twitter joking about it. Social blade shows her gaining 1-15 followers per day up until that erupted and bumped her to an average of ~150 new followers per day. The day that the Hanif Bali(M) supporting tweet blew up she got 539 followers. (Bali posed with an AR-15)

Ebba Busch Thor, the public face and leader of KD, have twice as many followers as Skyttedal but Skyttedal pulls in new ones at almost the same rate(since the middle of August). Yeah, it's just reading the tea leaves of Twitter bullshit but it's fun to look at.

Didn't a lot of the people in Svenskarnas Parti go to AFD (Alternativ för Sverige)? Which is more of a alt-right style party rather than the literal nazis of NMR.

I really haven't kept up lately, but I assume AFD (Alternativ för Sverige) is similar to the German AFD (Alternativ für Deutschland)
AFS is currently basically SD's run-off gutter. with SD trying to become a mainstream conservative party, they've been trying to clear the racists from their lines. (Whether it's working or not is another matter, as SD has an average of one racism-related scandal per week). AFS is mostly made up out of those people, and they consider SD to be too soft on immigration. SD has, in the past, called AFS "the alternative for people we fire."

AFS are full of morons. If SD is full of people who can't keep their mouth shut about muslims, AFS is the autism version of it. I think they will implode in a couple of years. Say what you will about Jimme, but it is thanks to him that SD is where its at. He keep a leash on the spergs in the party (not always successful).

That's the thing people keep forgetting about SD, they're a political success story, success as in showing that the system works. They started as some kind of skinhead thing in the 80's, but nah, they weren't tall enough to get on the political carousel. They grew their hair, groomed their speech and tried to be political. Nah, not tall enough, old baggage. They refined themselves further, kicked people out that would reflect badly on them, and they were still not tall enough to ride.

Over the last 3-4 elections cycles they have moved from their beginnings to what they are today: calm people that talk about their issues that eject members that say anything racist. They're now tall enough to climb up on, and join, the Scandinavian political platform, shedding so much of that old shit. It should be a victory for the system!

The Moderates(M) were offered 3,000 votes, enough to win the local election if they guaranteed they would approve the building permits for a new mosque in Alby(Botkyrka). This was delivered by Ali Khalil(the Green Party, naturally) who acted as a messenger for local interests.
M has been an opposition party in that municipality for 24 years, that the Greens(part of the so called Red-Green block) were willing to trade the election for favors would normally look pretty bad. But it's Alby, a suburb that's long been a problem and it's not the first time something like this has happened. Fucking Green Party...

When Uppdrag Granskning reached out to Ali Khalil his response was "the congregation has 4,500 members and they listen closely to the Imam" and that 3,000 votes should be possible.
