This excuse doesn't really work when the rates keep going up year after year long after they have changed how it is reported. When will this not be an excuse? Will all the women in Sweden finally feel comfortable reporting things as rape in thirty years so we can get some real statistics and not this pacifying bs every time?

People viewed as 'smart' in the the traditional sense, aren't really as perceptive as they seem. Many Doctors and Lawyers have been taken in by two bit schemes and cults. I suppose I'd term it the general lack of "street smarts"? I haven't heard that term in a long time.

Most people blindly accept what the authority in front of them tells them whether it be school, university, or press releases. Because societies education systems are set up in that way that produces good workers, but poor critical thinkers and perceptive reasoners. Because in a typical 9-5 office job, that's considered a benign skill, and possibly problematic as you may come into conflict with people that have authority over you, start questioning company policy and such.

Nope! I've been doubting that shit for years but last year something happened where it was possible to track reality in the statistics.

In January 2017 a couple of brothers were reported to the police for rape, they were investigated, arrested, charged with and convicted of close to 1000 cases of rape and the verdict fell in late 2017. So it's one event spanning just one year from start to finish, neat and tidy, and a THOUSAND rapes is a bump that will be easily spotted in the statistics.
Their victims were also minors and they were male, narrowing it down even further. So if we look at that particular category in the current statistics we should be able to see a significant uptick but no, nothing.

So it's true what you say, Sweden claims that's how it works, but you shouldn't trust Sweden these days.
