Far left extremist feminists actually don't want rape to go down, they actually want it to go up. This is apparent in their curious approach to rape prevention and their insistence that prevention in ANY form is "victim blaming". Women shouldn't have to take precautions, they should be able to walk down a dark street in the middle of the night because teach men not to raep! [/sarcasm] Women also must never carry pepper spray or anything else that could use to defend themselves (women get arrested for using pepper spray in Sweden but this is also the case in Canada).

Now, why, you ask, would they want such a horrible thing?

It's very simple. Many feminists either were converted to feminist after a rape being perpetrated upon their person, or they got even MORE feminist after they got raeped, OR they know of many, many women who got feminist religion after having been raped. So, in cold calculating manner, they believe this is the perfect way to increase the number of feminists.

I know, right? Under ordinary circumstances it WOULD be dumb, but the concurrent behavior of far-far-left Feminists (in terms of them dictating extremely flawed and faulty policy to governments) seems to only serve to increase raep. I have a hard time believing they're so head-in-the-sand that they don't realize what their ideology and policies are actually doing.

Please don't use the "he looked at me funny" definition of the word "rape". Maybe tumblr's managed to trick you, but real rape victims don't turn into supervillians just because they got raped, in fact real rape victims prefer to keep the ordeal under wraps, because it's honestly really embarrassing to have it happen to you.

Pretty sure it's just them being so indoctrinated with "PoC can do no wrong" to the point where they'll call female victims liars or even accept rape as penance for colonial sins that their country practically had no part in.

The article caused a scandal in Sweden and was widely seen as part of the reason why the British and Canadian foreign ministries issued travel advice about the country, citing gang crime and explosions. “They make it sound as if violence is out of control,” said Stefan Sintéus, Malmö’s chief of police.

It didn’t seem to occur to the police chief that both the travel advice and the article could reflect the same underlying reality. After all, only a few days earlier, a police station in Malmö was rocked by a hand grenade attack. Earlier the same month, a police car in the city was destroyed in an explosion.

I thought the latest excuse for rising rape rate in Sweden is the increasingly broad criteria for rape over there. Stuff like the Julian Assange incident where the woman basically got buyer's remorse over consensual sex and the act was retroactively judged to be rape. If you increase the types of incidents that are considered rape, you will get more rapes, everything else being held constant

It's far simpler, their job is to be feminists so when they got all the things that they originally wanted to have, and they already did, especially in fucking Sweden, they have to invent new missions to keep their jobs. This is why the legal definition of rape and list of moral crusades are ever expanding.

That is not to say they don't believe in what they do. They're closer to religious zealots than mercenaries, but they understand feminism can never "win" if they want to keep their jobs.

There is that, but there's borrowed ideology from America because in America, Feminists will deny that white women can be raped because back before the Civil Rights Act, hwhite women allegedly would accuse black men of raep (falsely, of course) just to give their menfolk an excuse to string one up vigilante style (or have the person executed or jailed via the legal system). Also something something power plus prejudice, but I'd argue any man that raeps a woman, black or white, ALREADY has demonstrated POWER.

Oh no, I haven't been tricked, but the more women THEY can trick into believing they've been raeped (like if they had consensual drunk sex; strangely the drunken man is NEVER considered a victim even if his partner was sober), or the more women they can con into believing they don't need self-defence classes, pepper spray, or whatever, becomes just part of adding to the foot soldiers of feminism.

I've seen a number of people claim rape survivor status (I hate it when people use the term "survivor" when AT NO TIME was their life even REMOTELY in jeopardy--like in the so-called drunk sex ones, and I'm NOT talking about roofies OR "blackout drunk/passed out and taken unfair advantage of" ones, just consensual-at-the-time inebriated sex), and most of those people cite those instances as the trigger for their feminism (probably after talking to some feminist either rape-crisis counselor or whatever). However, a disturbing number claim they were raped while being drunk and then "not knowing it was rape" until they took womens' studies or something like that, and THEN they became a feminist (on top of the whole wamens' studies indoctrination--which is where they get the whole "don't teach women to protect themselves, teach men not to raep!" routine, which completely ignores human behavior).

Never attribute something to conspiracy when you can attribute it to stupidity. It is a bunch of people with two beliefs that contradict each other and can't budge on either front for ideological reasons. That's simple incompetence. Among the TERFs there are anti muslim and anti immigration women because they caved on one belief when it contradicted the other, but they are a minority even in the minority of feminists that are branded terfs. There is nothing about being a feminist that deals with immigration policy, but there is a lot about being a liberal that does, so feminism that is ideologically tied to feminism causes the problem specifically, and that is the majority of contemporary feminism. If you could revive a lot of first and second waver feminists I am sure they would tell you that the obvious solution here is to reduce immigration. You are dumb as shit if you think rape victims are going around hoping more people get raped.
