I'm oddly optimistic as a result of this.

Yes, shit is bad, but the community persists in many places. They can remove a server or kill a site, but they can't kill the idea. Stay strong.

2. Why would they get depressed?

3. Why would someone like that commit suicide rather than deradicalize a bit?
