Even when I went to the sketchiest convenience stores in the most drug-infested parts of town, the prepaid visa cards they had required all kinds of onerous steps before I could activate them, and it was no better than what they sold at 7-11 or Wawa. Unless Josh starts taking Bed Bath and Beyond gift cards or something that's easy to activate I don't think that route is going to be feasible.

I ended up going with XMR (Monero) because it was what Null said offers the most privacy. Here's the steps I went through:

1. Register with Kraken. I think I had to show them a picture of my driver's license to actually transfer funds so this is a bit of a pain.
2. Get a local monero wallet. I just downloaded the gui wallet and it starts and syncs a node automatically.
3. Buy XMR through Kraken
4. Transfer said XMR to my personal wallet
5. Transfer funds from my wallet to Null

I think it takes 48 hours for the XMR to become available the first time. From there I just repeat steps 3-5 whenever I want to donate again and it takes 10 or 15 minutes.

Also, for the record, I've spent BTC from coinbase on private bittorrent trackers and other illegal stuff and they never seemed to care, but the one time I try to send to Josh they give me a bunch of shit and un-verified my account. Total BS.

I have just brought a prepaid travelcard with $50 on it but upon arrival you have to do a chip and pin transaction to activate it. Arrrrrgh! If any other British Kiwis have donated what card did you use?
Am going to stomp into town tomorrow and try and sort or perhaps buy a pint of milk to activate and then try and donate the rest.

Am British… my best advice is honestly, just subscribe to his gumroad. They accept all sorts of payments options. You could give a big donation one month and then cancel or donate a smaller amount as a recurring payment. It’s really convenient and much less hassle than trying to figure out crypto and gift cards etc.
(Pkus you sometimes get extra content… when the poor bloke isn’t being besieged by trannies).

I don’t know why he doesn’t shill it more often, unless there is something I am missing.

I don't think he can mix his personal money and Kiwi Farms. I have made a donation via MATI live which is for him personally but I feel that morally I should contribute to the KF directly as it means so much to me.

I will definitely donate again via the MATI as that seemed easy enough. (MI5 haven't burst through the door just yet!)

The UK Thought Police are coming for us all fren. X

I wish Josh could accept Amex credit cards since I am trying to use mine for everything for the reward points.

I think for us in the UK, we are just so used to being able to instruct our banks to instantly zip our money about wherever the hell we want that the idea of not being able to just transfer money to someone else at the click of a button is so fucking alien.

I hope this FedNow thing I have read about helps nullifies this issue for him. 2022 man… what is going on?

As of this date, are Visa/Mastercard or Prepaid Visa/Mastercards viable to use?

It's not just Coinbase. My Coinjar account got restricted after the last time I sent Null some BTC. I now use coin exchanges purely to change fiat currency into BTC, and then send the BTC over to the wallet on my phone. Much safer that way.

This is what I suggest doing in the OP. You should never send money to a 3rd party wallet from an xc.

Hurrah, my donation was successful. I brought dollars with a travel money card and the part I was worried about turned out to be only if you wanted to use it contactless. Unfortunately they have all my details so will await arrest while admiring my True and Honest Fan badge. Perhaps if we all donate at once we can completely clog the British judiciary system.

Cryptocurrency remains the single best way of directly supporting the site and has been so for 6 years now. Just make sure to send it to yourself first.

Where there is a will!

I need to figure out how to use crypto. I allegedly have some bitcoin on a hardrive left to me from my late uncle but I wouldn't even have a clue how to access it or even do anything with it.
Might spend some time trying to figure it out this weekend.
Maybe I can get my smitten kitten badge as well! ;)

See you in prison friend! X

What crypto wallet would you recommend that isn't Coinbase and that doesn't require the installation of their shitty app for account verification and transactions?

If you mean exchange and not wallet, Kraken is pretty good and still lets you buy Monero.
