Aw. Like, no offense against Tekken, but I've been rooting for another classic character like Mappy or Gilgamesh for a while now. Maybe some day (or Fraymakers).

Mappy would be a nice break, since the other toonish like character we got was Banjo. Smash is kind of marred with a lot of realistic humans, swordies and Mons.

Mappy's super cute TBH.

Mythra/Pyra were the double whammy of anime sword haters getting mad and boob hating people getting mad
 
I cared about maybe 3 of the DLC fighters and everyone else the only good thing to come of them was the drama.

Well, they did change a Mr. Game & Watch pose to make it look less like a Native American warrior.

Didn't matter that the pose came from a old Game & Watch title, they changed it to avoid having a PR shit storm.

If they kept panty shots, ResetERA might've tried to burn the North America office down.

The panty shots were censored in 4, which was before people threw tantrums over the G&W feather.

Sakurai most likely had a vendetta, though, because when Brawl had photo contests, he made a post explicitly stating to stop sending in panty shot of Zelda and Peach.

The edited sprite didn't completely eliminate everything though, they just got rid of the feather. The loincloth without the feather looks weird though, especially since it's rounded at the bottom.
