tbh if you thought the leaks were 100% real because of some unseen picture of the grinch's ass you should probably stop using the internet forever.

At least Geno and Banjo weren't in it at all and DLC has been confirmed :)
 
Man, I can't believe how many people believed in a fake as shit picture. I have to say that Piranha Plant feels like a really random choice, but at least it has more than enough variety to make it as a full fighter, unlike the Chorus Kids. And I'm pleasantly surprised to see Incineroar made the cut. But man am I happy to see a real, proper Adventure mode return.

I said from the start that that reasoning plus a blurry as shit easy to fake picture were really dumb reasons to believe in it.

Honestly it was just a rollercoasters. Ken was awesome, Incineroar being confirmed got me hyped up and then I was fucking laughing to tears at Piranha Plant.
 
Oh well... I'm at least happy that Incineroar is in, that Shantae and Steve aren't fighters, and that DLC fighters are a thing.

The last one at least has an explanation, the poor puppet ended up in another game series and was engulfed by darkness.

So, here is my head canon for the opening to the story mode. Master Hand was the kid playing with the toys (fighters). Well, we now see hundreds of hands coming for the toys. Clearly, the race war happened and that was the kid's interpretation of his house being looted.
