While not the character I was hoping for (my fingers were crossed for Crash) it's good to see how Sora's inclusion has made so many people happy.

Between Banjo & Kazooie in the first DLC wave and Ridley and Incineroar in the base game, the characters I wanted most in the game got in, so I'm good.

Honestly I'm more disappointed that with this being the last DLC character, that means no more salt/memes for new fighters.

It's nice to see the salt-a-flowin' but I'd prefer to get some outside of this thread.
 
I fucking love that doomguy's a mii gunner. the moveset works for him and it's funny seeing him at the same height as Mario.

Sora was what was the most predictable thing cause square enix sword guy BUT UNLIKE THE FIRE EMBLEM SWORD GUYS the square enix ones tend to have really interesting gimmicks instead of being "marth but one or 2 different moves" I'd rather have that than fucking Byleth with his broke ass knockback launch attacks at low percentage that suck the fun out of the game for me when I'm fighting as him or against anyone that's using him. People will be fucking LIVID over sora having a dash air recovery gimmick thing like they got mad over meta knight's gliding mechanics in brawl.

Now if you like Sora thats fine, he looks fun to play and sakurai clearly put a lot of heart into making him.
That being said I have never liked Kingdom Hearts. It's a very reddit game.

Nothing that mods can't fix. Get the huge music pack and Championship Edition and soon you will be able to fight Sora as Akuma.

Reminder that Disney bitched, moaned and jewed to hell and back and the only concession they gave to Nintendo was the Mickey Keychain on the Keyblade, any mention of any character of Disney was removed, no songs, no spirits no nothing , even in its dive into the heart scenario Goofy and Donald were removed and replaced with a boat and the star fruit

I wonder how much convincing Nintendo had to do to let that massive stick out of their asses

Square Enix's DLC fighters have all been weirdly stingy with music tracks. That's not even touching on how there were initially only 2 final fantasy tracks. They could've added in the actual final boss theme for Kingdom hearts instead of the final area/dream sequence tracks that share a similar structure to the final boss theme. I mistook them as the final boss theme because that's actual battle music and the demonstration had the intense parts playing rather than the calm parts. Hell, they could've at least put the Kingdom hearts 2 miniboss/pete theme in there or the 13th struggle.
I'm thankful though that the guard armor/trickmaster theme's in there at least. Iconic early game bosses.

it feels that both square and disney are just being stingy motherfuckers to both each other and Nintendo. Disney's weird clampdown on Vidya licensing is protbably why there's less crossover stuff in 3 and just a segment that's the actual literal movie scenes from frozen with the characters watching from a distance they can't even interact with the characters from. Far cry from the funny shit like KH2 where Sora is LITERALLY in the plot of Pirates of the carribean. talking to jack sparrow and shit. The only thing "disney" on sora is the mickey keychain on his keyblade and that DEFINITELY put nintendo through some form of negotiation hell with how modern disney is about branding and shit.
What fucks me up is to access one of the songs you need to buy a completely unrelated game. No other smash DLC did this.

Hallow bastion is better than Monstro, fuck monstro. I don't want to crawl around inside a whale's asshole popping cartoon parasite demons and tumors. I'm surprised they put through the effort of recreating the entirety of Hallow Bastion's exterior, down to the moving platforms and ramps and shit.

kingdom hearts is a bad franchise for gay autistic retards. It is filled with fur faggots and final fantasy rejects all dressed like they just raided rob Halfords wardrobe.
Fact: literally any character would have been better, no matter how goddamn stupid (CIP, piranha plant is 10/10). I am so legitimately anti-hyped that I honest to God don't want to play the fucking game anymore.
