You know, Sakurai adding terry and banjo means he is looking more seriously outside of Japans gaming scene for characters.
If I remember correctly Banjo sold 4-5 times more in the states than Japan making him much more of a western representative. (plus rare being founded in england)
while King Of Fighters was IS hugely popular in south america because they had super expensive consoles in the 90s restraining them to arcade machines much longer than the west was.

To this day King Of fighters is apparently THE fighting game down there.

So despite all the people screaming and moaning about Terry making no sense, it apparently makes perfect sense.

Undertale was hugely successful in both the West and Japan so memes aside it kinda makes sense funnily enough
hell he'd be a full blown fighter if Undertale was a series with a longer history.

This is abit unrelated but stuff like this makes sometimes long for the days when we thought someone like cloud or banjo would be impossible to be in not because I don't them in but it feels like Pandora's box was open when cloud was introduced I can't be the only who roll eyes everytime they see people going *insert character for smash*and writing a essay about who should get in and who doesn't get in. Might just be looking in the past with nostalgia goggles but still imagine if someone like Wiifit or Rob get in now of days considering how they reacted to Terry. Makes me glad I mostly play the game with a small group of friends and don't interact with the wider fanbase.

So after Terry who do you think the female fighter will be? Shantae? Jill? Lara Croft? Aloy?
The girl from Control? Lol

Birdo to piss off the troons!

Really though. Looking it up I can't tell who they want the most.

Also would it be too much to give little bios or something to the stickers? I miss reading about the different trophies in previous games

Don't worry about reviving the thread. Once some new smash news gets out, this thread as lively as ever.
 
Do people really think Sora will get in?

Cosndiring like with Cloud, his English VA would or maybe Union only. Even if they use archive clips.

They would rage if his voice was Japanese only, lol.

Personally, don't see it. Especially with how strict Square Enix has been with their stuff.
