Kazuya continues to bring more salt out of Rosterfags as Sakurai deconfirmed both Dante and Shantae in one stream

the past tweet this was all about:

jisu has been mass blocking anyone that says anything remotely critical
mind you, jisu is the same person that has said there's no such thing as 'cancel culture', only 'accountability' :)

I've come with a new announcement in regards to Kazuya. Scrubs galore in the Smash community!

Pandery shit in the name, the avatars, the lack of self awareness, pausing confusing these people, this is exactly what I wanted Sakurai

These people want Smash to be a fighting game but get pissy when actually fighting game mechanics get added to the game. How the fuck have these people never play a fighting game before?

In other news, Leffen is throwing a bitchfit on twitter, saying he might "retired" from melee since he won't be able to come to a Tournament due to visa issues and covid restrictions.

Maybe Leffen should get a real job instead of being a scrubby little bitch. Though Leffen is always having some sort of bitchfit on Twitter, what an insufferable faggot he is.

Smash is the perfect paradox for unintelligent people who want recognition.

It's rather simple, and quite the effective grift. Both the Melee and Ultimate community are extremely autistic, and command that respect must be given to them by the normies, and to some extent they've achieved that through pieces like articles and videos designed to portray them in the best light possible, it's really obvious when you notice how they describe themselves. Their tournaments are always "grassroots", Smash players always put in the utmost hard work and dedication. Smash isn't just a fighting game, Melee specifically is a "work of art". Nintendo is the big bad always shutting down the little guy's tournaments, despite the fact that they only shut down tournaments during the era where they were draconian about their content, and when they use emulators and roms in a tournament Nintendo previously sponsored because they couldn't just wait a year to play in person.

By constantly painting themselves in a virtuous, underdog manner, they get that respect they oh-so deserve. That's why there's so many fucking Smash "documentaries" that just serve as ego boosters. Smash is a game that takes no effort to play 'well", especially Ultimate. The Melee guys at least have the excuse of wavedashing and shit. That's also why they freak out when they have to learn new knowledge, because that would require effort outside of their specific niche.

Or, TLDR: Smash players are retards who managed to get the public to feed into their ego, and hate anything that threatens that.

No, no, you don't understand. It's that they want to be seen the same as other fighting games, the problem is that their community is just incompatible with the greater FGC but they keep trying to force it.

WaveDashing in Melee is like RollCanceling in Capcom vs SNK 2

Both of these are glitches that never got noticed during bug testing, but in the competitive scene they are heavily abused to the point where they are considered a core aspect of gameplay, especially in tournaments.

Using cheap tricks like these to win doesn't impress me.

I didn't say it was a good excuse.

But yeah, cheap tricks is all the Smash community really knows how to pull, it's no wonder they don't like things that add elements of skill to their party game.

Wavedashing did get noticed, but Sakurai elected not to remove it as he thought it wouldn't effect play to a significant degree. Sakurai later regretted that and in Brawl and Smash 4, wavedashing was no more. However, it did come back in Ultimate, but is so limited that it pretty much doesn't matter. This becomes deliciously ironic as Kazuya can crouch dash in both his home series and in Smash Ultimate.

The Smash competitive scene looks less like people playing a video game and more like breaking one into an absurd glitch fest that looks like a Vinesauce corruption.

These are techniques used in the wider Smash community.

A rather playable corruption mind you, but that is the keyword of the community. If they aren't corrupting the game, they are corrupting the children.

Has he even tried to consistently land an EWGF? Or is he too dumb to realize it's different from the standard God Fist? If you can EWGF even 70% of the time you deserve every single combo you get from it.
Of course not. The Smash community couldn't land a command input even if I put a gun to their head.
