It feels REALLY good to be good at Melee, you can move and do things that most other games would shit themselves trying to accomplish. With just your fingers, you can move and fight far faster than any human ever really could. There isn't much else like it, really. That's why nobody has moved on to the other Smash games, because they haven't captured that magic again. There are even pro players of the newer Smash games who readily admit that Melee is just better.

Anyway my point is, Melee is one of those rare games that feels balanced enough to not hate it but also has such a high skill ceiling the gap between rank 1 and rank 20 is lightyears. As autistic and retarded as it and the community surrounding it are, it got there deservedly.

Main thing is just the response time. If they could just fix the response time to be as instantaneous as Melee then the new games would have the same competitive fandom. Which might be why Nintendo doesn't tighten the response time.

The only one creating controversy around BOXX is hax himself. Not leffen.
Now, hax might think otherwise because he obviously suffers from untreated schizofrenic paranoia but what he thinks is reality is actually not.

What should hax have done instead of sperging out?
He should have said "Thankyou for purchasing a BOXX. We are sorry you do not like the default button layout. We have taken your suggestion to heart and we will allow you to reconfigure the button layout in the next BOXX firmware update."

That is what someone running a business and is not clinically insane would say.
But no, that is not the path Hax took. Instead he starts publicly attacking customers for merely asking "how do you change the button layout".

Leffen did not sabotage BOXX. Hax did himself.
Who the fuck would like to do business with a guy that demonstrably will lash out at you publicly on twitter because you ask questions abut the product?

EDIT: What is next? Someone asks "do they come with longer cables because my couch is far away from my tv?" and hax will go mental and lash out because "the cables are exactly the correct length, you are an idiot"

Hax called a paying customer of his TardBoxx "a Leffen bitch" on social media because the dude said the layout was shit.

Hax is the guy to blame on everything by the actions he took by pushing a product for a niche group. Of course there will be drama and people taking sides and he sperg the fuck out when criticism was given.

I don't doubt for a minute that Leffen instigate it by shit talking the TardBoxx, baiting Hax into getting triggered and sperging the fuck out. And, again, Leffen won.

Customizable layouts are objectively better because they allow people to experiment with their own retarded ideas. Even if Hax$ has figured out the absolute optimal design with Science or whatever, that isn't taking in the human element that people need to learn this and become familiar and comfortable with it, which of course Hax$ wouldn't because 🧩

Honestly this is conventional knowledge, but of course spergs are going to freak over it
