Seriously though, this sort of sperging justifies a ban. I could see the TO's bracing themselves for hax going full David Katz (the NFL tournament shooter). If he truly believes half of the shit he said in that video, he needs help.
 
I am totally with hax$ in this one.
I watched so much news that his rambling did not even sound insane. I mean, calling someone hitler is just a playground insult nowadays, and I get that crying about getting banned or blocked sounds gay, but the way people act towards social issues in a small scale mimics how they deal with bigger injustices. hax may be autistic, but the way I see it the guy just wanted to sell his product that he had a passion for, got fuckd over by someone just because he could do it, and haxx has absolutly no way to retialate, or to wash his name clean. The only reason his video got attraction is because he went insane.
Considering him a safety threath is retarded and overplayed, and banning him was just an other fuck you from leffen, and hax cant do anything about it, again. Probably for the better, smash sounds like something you dont want to get involved with.

The idea that people disregard the video because "schizo lol take ur meds" but then follow Leffen's "omg poor Leffen take care of your mental health and shit" narrative is what gets me the most, especially since Etika and all that

Both of them should be banned for being turbofaggots and for playing Smash competitively.

If it can be sunk over one disagreement in some specific layout, his business plan was retarded and he deserves to sink. He could produce an alternate model of his controller or he can bitch and moan for all eternity about muh one frame.

He's been banned from one upcoming tournament. Ban, suspension, functionally the same. No one can stop him from releasing more videos or playing netplay though.

If this had happened in any other business situation, Hax would be forced to step down from his position at a company for what he posted. He's done way more damage to his own reputation and company than any supposed damage Leffen did.

Dude, even in this modulated video he accused Leffen of being a Psychopath. Why? For the sin of STABBING A PANCAKE WITH AN IMAGE OF JIGGLYPUFF ON IT.

Leffen might be a lot of things, a bully, an autist, a jerk. I will even believe Hax$ that the guy was disingenuous with the Boxx controller and wanted to do irreparable damage to its reputation. But Hax$ is an unreliable narrator just for the mere fact that he has bad blood with Leffen.

If he came in and just came in as a reasonable person saying "Hey Leffen is wrong when it comes to my controller. BTW he's had a history of being a jerk to people." Then yeah he would have won the battle. But no he had to build this grand conspiracy theory and you land at the conclusion that Leffen is a fucking supervillian or Hax$ needs therapy because so much of the shit he said in these hour long videos is crazy talk.

It's only fitting that the smash community operates on the same rules as primary school. Everyone tongue baths the top bully and the sperg gets excommunicated.
 
There was a time when I played Melee, the game that seems to be getting the brunt of the autism drama in this thread. Probably fairly, given it is like 20 years old and completely unsupported by the developer but claws forward with the sheer power of communal autism.

I see a lot of people go, "WTF why would these manchildren destroy their hands for this?" and I'd just like to say it is because they enjoy it. There is something special about Melee. I'm sure most of us have found an activity, sport, game, etc. that we come to truly enjoy mastering. Each bit of skill you can see yourself gain becomes addictive. Due to the unique nature of this game, having been rushed and having a fairly balanced roster compared to most fighting games, that's what has happened. It feels REALLY good to be good at Melee, you can move and do things that most other games would shit themselves trying to accomplish. With just your fingers, you can move and fight far faster than any human ever really could. There isn't much else like it, really. That's why nobody has moved on to the other Smash games, because they haven't captured that magic again. There are even pro players of the newer Smash games who readily admit that Melee is just better.

Anyway my point is, Melee is one of those rare games that feels balanced enough to not hate it but also has such a high skill ceiling the gap between rank 1 and rank 20 is lightyears. As autistic and retarded as it and the community surrounding it are, it got there deservedly.
 
Every person I have ever met who took SSBM seriously as an adult was a massive, man-child faggot. I see here that things haven’t changed.

See this shit gets me because others don't pick up on it. It wasn't even a pancake. It was okonomiyaki and that is how you serve it, by cutting it with a sharp spatula. And its generous to call that smiley face a Jigglypuff. That was one point in the video I'm like "this guy is fucking joking, right?"

He is obviously biased but that is all this is. An autist with a beef. People saying he is crazy for overanalyzing things aren't really taking into account that is just what he does anyway. I have no doubt Leffen is petty and narcissistic enough to do nearly all of the shit he is accused of, because that just makes him your average streamer/youtuber. The thing Hax$ doesn't want to admit is that he is playing the same game and wants the same attention but doesn't want to put in the same amount of effort into his image because he is an autist. I think people expecting him to go on an autistic violent rage over this are just in :optimistic: :optimistic: :optimistic: land.

He didn't pay for it, he's not a paying customer. It's also not a valid complaint and it caused controversy for Hax. You wouldn't give a free copy of your new product to someone who caused controversy around your last one.

Anyway I'm getting sick of arguing about button layouts. I still believe Hax was in the right here, but people just want to focus on his retarded schizoposting instead which I can't defend.
