Hax is a massive sperg who takes himself way too seriously, that much is clear from the video and the arguments he presents. But truly schizo? Nah.

His world is so small and his autism so great that the scale of injury in perceives from what Leffen has done is wildly disproportionate to reality and thus the grandstanding he does about the seriousness of the situation is hilarious and buries his actual point 12 feet under, but his core argument is cogent enough I just don't buy a more serious diagnosis than severe autism.

So it's a bit hard for me to see him as any more likely to carry out an assassination than you or I, and his profile actually reduces the chances at smash events specifically.

He's the most typical example of a schizo. His pattern recognition skills are an overdrive and he notices shit that clearly isn't related, and takes that and turns it into a grand conspiracy against him. He thinks that some random jackass who harshly criticized him 10 years ago is the cause of everything bad in his life. He thinks he's being stalked. Soon he'll be complaining about Leffen putting cameras in street lights.

Hax made it too easy for him to give the response he did. Literally anyone with half a brain would ignore and move on - though it would have been amazing for us if Leffen tried to go point by point in his response.

  • faking a tournament
  • took out ads on another stream for said tournament with the express need for Leffen to see the ads
  • when Leffen came out with a sub-only tournament for his stream that happened to be on the same day as Hax's tournament (a sub-only tournament being a pretty good business strategy if you're a big streamer [note: Leffen's would have been timed for Europe, Hax's would have been for east coast NA, meaning they might have a bit of overlap but not much]), Hax said OH MY GOD THIS SOCIOPATH LOOK AT HIM MAKING A TOURNAMENT ON THE SAME DAY AS MEEEEE THIS ABSOLUTE BONKERS TRIAD SOCIOPATH TRYING TO RUIN MY LIFE
Hax trying to bait responses out of Leffen to the point of creating situations to benefit his narrative about Leffen is also a treat here. If he really wanted to game the situation, he shouldn't have admitted to the puppetmaster nonsense. What he's claiming Leffen is doing, is really a reflection of himself.

Tough question, leffen is a pretty boy twink so he has the gay angle as well, but hax is a certified spergius maximus with fucked up hands, so I could see him being a groomer as well.

Knowing the reputation of certain top players have had in the scene, it wouldn't surprise me if either one of them were soliciting pictures from minors at some point before.
 
My general read of them is this: Leffen is an egotistical dick and a petty, spiteful and immature person. The kind of shit you'd expect from any run-of-the-mill social media person. But as far as him being a "monster" or a "sociopath" I don't see any of that at all. Nothing he's done has been evil. He's been annoying, he's been unlikable, he's been obnoxious, but he's never ruined anyone's life or caused their death.

Hax, as has been stated many times, has a few legitimate grievances but the problem is the guy is completely fucking insane and has absolutely no insight into that. The shit he says is comically overblown and so far from reality its impossible to take any of it seriously whatsoever. He has a flair for the dramatic and uses catastrophic language to describe mundane inconveniences. The fact that he quoted David Icke is telling.

You can tell there are a few people in the thread who are just as crazy as he is, because we have posters here insisting that everything Hax said was actually totally 100% right and Leffen really is a horrible monster, he just needed to "explain" it better.

tbf most of this thread before the Hax shit was mainly covering other dumb aspects of the Smash community mainly the pedo accusations, competitive melee, and Rosterfags (who will maybe have a resurgence on Tuesday given Nintendo has an E3 conference).

Yeah, your tournament will probably be better if you don't let retards show up. But the more annoying part is, Hax$, just edit your crying out of your video. Your video didn't have to be an hour and a half long if you didn't include the three minutes of silence with you just sobbing to yourself and grabbing a tissue over the word retard.

19 - Oh what the fuck he didn't even actually get banned? The retard got to play, he just had to pay his own way to get there? And you shed tears over this? Hax$, I am not going to be the least bit sympathetic to you when you, a professional player, intentionally misuse the word 'ban'. A 'ban' is when you are prohibited from participating in a tournament, like what happened to your dumb ass after you posted the first video.

That is literally not the only way you could describe having someone read your messages on a forum and respond to them because you are attempting to make points that other people might find controversial and this player, who is good enough to become a pro, disagrees with you and would like to offer an alternate take. So, he resisted naming the Reich at 11 minutes, but still called him totalitarian, again. Then in 20 minutes he called him a psychopath. Are we going to get a revisit of the Dark Triad here?

20:40 - "Some people believe Leffen's a good guy, or that I'm the psycho in this situation." - You are the psycho, Hax$. You admitted to grabbing your engineer by the shoulders and physically shaking him. You admitted to assaulting a coworker, not a friend, not a family member, a coworker, because of your paranoid delusions. #MeToo

Schizophrenic delusions dont show up at your hotel room while you're not there or try to get your only way to play Smash banned though (the controller). The guy's a total sped for not being able to put it into the right words but Leffen seems pretty sus

Leffen is indeed sus for his past - contrary to what Hax seems to think about information suppression by tHe pReSs, the original evidence.zip is still available online. Here's a quick rundown of the climate in Smash when it comes to Leffen:

The document concerns stuff he's done in his early career - a lot of it is honestly not fun to read about, and considering all of these events have happened (most egregious being yelling in the hearing piece of a deaf player) it would, and should, colour perceptions about Leffen. He took a ban from competitive involvement for a year. This was 2013; Leffen was 19 although the recorded behaviour had happened for a few years.

Fast forward, Leffen is 26 today. What has changed now in Melee is perception towards him since what happened. Leffen is still the bad guy in Melee, but he's proven himself as a player and someone to root for as a viable up and comer in the somewhat stagnant Era of the Five Gods, which to fans is enough to admire him, sub to him, suck the dick off his corpse, etc. Whatever anyone thinks about the ban, or if he should have been served a permaban, or how you feel about his type of personality, he's still a fairly well liked player by virtue of being someone who's competent enough at the game to kickstart a new era.

Here's where Hax went wrong. He's gone rogue against someone who is now pretty well liked. Everyone accepts Leffen and his past, and everyone knows he is a hothead. The perception now towards Leffen would be comparable to your schoolyard bully in elementary school winding out to be a talented guy. Everyone knows he has a shitty past but people can't help but admire him. With this in mind, Hax needed at least a cosign or two from other People With Sufficient Powerlevel on his proposed evidence.zip2 to impact the wider community. Lacking this, compounded by a clear lack of someone checking over his work to keep him from sperging, Hax has failed in his mission to storm Berlin and rip Hitler from his bunker totally pwn Leffen.
 
Well this Hax guy claims he studied psychology to make his video, but apparently he didn't study quite enough to realize how much mental dysfunction is required for a grown adult in their mid to late 20s to dedicate their life to a 20 year old party videogame. A 2.5 hour video about some other idiot being mean had to have taken many, many hours to make spanning over weeks, and at no point while sitting there hunting through 10 year old forum posts and editing together his magnum opus about the community surrounding a game everyone in the wider public stopped caring about more than a decade ago did this man think to himself "You know, maybe I should just toss this whole thing in my recycle bin and go outside".

These people getting banned is probably the absolute best thing for them. Now what they need is for their mother to start banning them from her house more often and maybe they'd all stop being such whiny irritating weiners.

Although idk, it seems like maybe there's something wrong with Hax aside from garden variety autism. Boy doesn't look right.
