Yeah pretty much everyone is pissed at hax because this is the case, but he did a poor job of explaining it, and made leffen look like the good guy if anything.

This is most definitely the actual reason. I think a large part of hax's dislike of leffen is also out of jealousy. In 2013/2014 hax was poised to be one of the best players ever, slowly pushing his way into the top 5 - then he had his hand problems and had to take a break, meanwhile leffen became the best player (at the time) in 2015. Imagine being better than a rival then having to quit a game due to a hand injury and seeing them soar to the top not just in skill but in popularity. It probably fucked with his head.
 
They should ban both of them for being faggot retards, however this is not likely because I'm certain Smash tournaments are ran by faggot retards. It's a vicious cycle.

It reminds me of incels whining about chad "mogging" them and then going into long winded spergouts where the entire society is at fault for their butthurt.
I guess no one likes to be bested by a smug guy who goes on to become more successful but only a cow with issues gets this thoroughly mentally destroyed by it, Hell, a lot of people in competitive sports purposely act smug as shit because they know it drives their rivals insane and when someone's ego is broken they go into self destruct mode. Wether deliberate or not it seemed to have worked out for Leffen since he is not the one getting banned from tournaments and mocked as an schizo autist.

I went to tournaments in HS (thank god I didn't get groomed) and stopped around senior year - judging by how the smash community has done in the time since I quit until now, it was a wise choice. If you go to a tournament there's a good chance at least 1 or 2 pedophiles are there, and a 50/50 on whether or not they've sexually assaulted someone.

All 100% true. You have to control how you react. But also if your “sport” lacks sportsmanship rules it’s a meme sport.
 
Both of them should be banned, and forced to be in their own 1v1 tournament. Final Destination. No items. Everyone is Fox.

Just wondering but does Capcom and Namco actually fund tournaments for their communities to enjoy? Like I know Nintendo doesn't, in fact they straight up fucking banned Melee when that gayass #freemelee shit did absolutely nothing. I take it that's because Tekken and Street Fighter players aren't a bunch of fat soybeard pedo libtards like Smashfags are. Like it's not even a fighting game, it's practically a party game with people who do claw grip and get fucked up hands. They can't shower because the fucked up hands they have can't let them turn the water on.

The freemelee controversy was because the tournament was advertising pirated copies of the game. That's a big no no for sponsor/official tournaments.
