He litteraly does show a picture of L when he talks about himself in the video so yes.

The "curse of the midwit" is real.
People learn about topics enough to believe they have a high amount of competency in them, but yet lack the depth to understand how little in the scope they actually understand.
Hax is a shining example of the Dunning–Kruger effect in action. He is talking about physiology concepts with his skimmed a wikipedia article level of knowledge on the subject, but belives he has the depth of understanding to make a video that will "decide the fate of the Smash community".

I came in here ready to give a breakdown of these two characters as a former "member" of this community, but you guys are standing on solid ground.

Leffen is and always has been an insufferable faggot who enjoys playing the villain and being a leading "commentator" a little too much. He's also legitimately one of the best. Hax was an incredibly talented technical player with a level of autism and entertaining play that was rare. Since "ruining" his hands he has been consumed by coping and seething about various things including slights to himself and others (real or imagined). What was unexpected is Hax going full schizo a-log and Leffen clutching his pearls talking about his safety and getting the law involved.

This is a sequel to the original evidence.zip which was concise, damaging and dealt largely in the irrefutable facts around Leffen's behavior and persona. Armada did this much better over half a decade ago.

Leffen does inspire autism kino though. For those who haven't heard it, here's a diss track aimed at the edgyboi.

I think the case for Leffen being malicious and not merely thoughtless is pretty sound. But yes, Leffen is not some evil genius with some big elaborate plot. He's just a bad and opportunistic person. People like Leffen exist in virtually every space imaginable. Work in an office? Someone there is a Leffen. Are you in academia? 90% of your cohorts are Leffens.

He is definitely using smear tactics. However, it doesn't seem at all like he wants to expose Leffen "for no reason." It seems like he actually has some very good reasons. However, Hax's actions and words are simply tainted with his own malice. Regardless of the truth value of everything, he just comes across as a bit of a dick himself. Basically, Hax can be a bitter little bitch but still be 100% correct in aiming that bitterness at Leffen.
 
Used to be into smash around a decade ago and it pains me that I know what they’re talking about. Aside from that holy shit what a fucking schizo hax and guess leffen is alright. last time I checked in on how the smash people were doing a bunch ended up being pedos so guess this isn’t that bad.

Yeah, one thing that stuck out to me:
1. the established tournaments were always on saturdays.
2. it was common practice to defer to those tournies, so as not to bother having to try competing with huge streams hurt anyone's feelings.
3. so much so that Hax's tournament dates were nearly 3 weeks apart.
so naturally 4. Leffen can not possibly do a saturday tournament in a given month unless he's specifically trying to snub Hax!

I don't know. Pretty fuckin' greedy dude. I guess everyone else is supposed to do weekday tournaments because HAX THOUGHT OF IT FIRST WITH HIS GIANT BIG BOY BRAIN!

I mean, gee, what are the odds that two guys who are internet famous for the same game would both host filler events when nothing big was going on in the CoMmUnItY? Fucking astronomical, right!?
