This is what a lot of us have been saying for a while, and for good reason.
We had A-Logs like @Raging Capybara blaming tourneytards for anything they hate about Smash Bros., at least one user being consistently salty over Joker's inclusion over "a real SMT character", users trying to defend Melee's tourney presence and the lack of stages in their rule set (even with hazards turned off), salt over Fire Emblem's mere existence, and a user claiming that characters are only chosen to appease "the Japs" (despite several of the playable fighters having far more popularity outside Japan, such as Little Mac and all the Metroid characters). And those are just the ones I can name at the moment.
Seriously, this thread is a goldmine for users to spill their spaghetti.

Wont lie, I really do like Steve. I was a naysayer, but I'm very surprised Sakurai was able to make the literally stiff animations work. Also I'm a sucker for dumb mechanics. The supposed crafting/upgrading mechanic that I was is definitely something I'd love to experiment with.

I wonder how he would react if anyone informs him that Mojang and Nintendo were in talks about putting Minecraft in Smash in 2015, 3 years before the steveposters enter the picture due to Virginben wanting attention, making it far less likely that Steve's inclusion was influenced entirely by unfunny memers

it served its purpose during the giant rape drama wave over the summer but now its literally just a thread for rosterfags to talk about rumors and other angry rosterfags (which it also pretty much was before that drama wave)
