Given how certain stage layouts can give certain characters advantages over others, only the most minimal and symmetrical layouts are permissible. This is due to the fact that pro Smash gameplay isn't about hype or fun, but efficiency, which is why top-tier Melee gameplay is only exciting if you're so far down the rabbit hole that you know what the Smash Bible is (it's an analysis of every stage and character on the frame-by-frame level by Mew2King, failed Sheldon clone and one of the top autists of the Melee scene).

But there's no fucking point because every stage can be made the same way with the Omega and Battlefield format. These retards who rely on a party game to be their ticket into pretending to be FGC members since they suck with anything but kid's party games are just rejecting the stages out of sheer autism. And I know that wiki article was written by that one imbecile for himself, because apparently never moving on from a game and needing a janky controller to win even at said game designed for children to party with means you're worth one.

Personally, I would've love to see Takamaru from The Mysterious Murasame Castle as a playable fighter, but I'm still happy he's an assist trophy, because at the very least Sakurai's team still decided to acknowledged him.
