The Smash community is quite something. They're even more childish and bratty than the literal children the game is marketed towards.

Reddit has a ton of people full of themselves who think they're always right and get defensive when they're wrong.

Imagine what happens when Reddit's Smash community gets disappointed.

Side note: I'm so glad that reddit lets you sort comments by "controversial". It's like a built-in salt detector.

Imagine Incenoroar using his Darkest Lariat to suck up all the salty tears so he can use it to water Piranha Plant. Sure excessive salt is bad for normal plants but PP is no normal plant.

It would've been interesting to see how Mach Rider would've been implemented with regards to attacks and stuff. I didn't see Banjo/Kazooie as a spirit/assist like some of the other Grinch leak characters, so they might be DLC.



....can assist trophies end up as DLC?

I genuinely laughed at the fatal frame assist and the piranha plant looks fun as hell. Ages back I posted about wanting a ranged character who was squishy and this looks like a good way to actually implement that idea without making them a pure projectile spammer.

E: Also the fatal frame assist is far funnier if you know the point of that game is taking pictures of ghosts who aren't aware they're actually dead, and the subject being photographed in the assist is Luigi.

And I always love how these manbabies always feel the need to insult Sakurai and his game, all because he didn't made their favorite character/waifu playable. Really says more about them than Sakurai.

It's a real shame that the Smash community is so spoiled and full of themselves, that they outright refuse to look at the series beyond "OMG WHERE'S (insert character)?!", while also refusing to see why Sakurai makes his decisions on playable fighters.

Ok that's understandable i guess, hell, i wold have loved to see Banjo maybe next ti-

You know what?, i'd rather have a dozen generic enemies from Mario and DK franchises as playable fighters before Goku or any other anime character, seriously, to this day i can't understand what's the reasoning behind wanting Goku in Smash Bros., if someone genuinely wants an anime/manga character in Smash, they have no right to complain about what characters are chosen to be in the roster

The only thing that would make this better is if they announced they were discontinuing Game Cube controller support.
 
A sort of interesting thing about the switch is that nintendo’s really lenient about what controllers it can use and there are tiny cheap adapters you can make/buy to let you use any old controller or xbox/ps4 pads. It’s probably the best local multiplayer system you can get aside from a pc because everyone who plays games can probably dig up a pile of crap controllers for mario kart/smash/mame if needed.

I guess after the WiiU, Nintendo learned the hard way that trying to force consumers to use a gimmicky gamepad no one asked for isn't exactly a good busyness move
