Lib-cuck shitholes like San Francisco making it "legal" to publicly galivant around with your meat in the breese is a big part of it. The second part is how guerilla content-making (youtube, ect...) has normalized not obtaining filming permits, permissions, ect... The final part is how lefty judges love LGBTQ+ / sex-positivity and will fight tooth and nail for the right of a poor marginalised troon to beat their meat in your gym.

Isn't this like the rest of the Internet now? It's completely impossible to go anywhere RN and not expect everyone in the community is on board with the DEI Agenda. I miss those times where you can speak to people normally without treading on eggshells.

Late and has already been somewhat explained but those that say "stunted development" aren't too far off. It's a mixture of the old crowd of smash players "suddenly having an epiphany" (i.e. not virtue signaling effected their bottom line) and letting the scene get run over by the most annoying attention seekers to be conceived from a FGC as well as enabling the same retards who were already ruining it (i.e. Leffen, Mang0, etc. etc.) because they were all that was left after PPMD, M2K, and Armada left. Then the new crowd of an entirely different breed of manchildren grown up in the "progressive" age of the internet that pushed troon, gay, anti-racist, feminist shit down everyone's throat and they were gullible enough to take the bait either for attention/clout, fetish development (from the EPI garbage pushed by social media), or white guilt for the full osmosis process.

Couple all this with a game clearly designed for children and the games featuring household name characters like Mario and Pikachu, you have the primordial beast that is the modern day smash community. For a lot of these retards, it was the first game they ever played and they drove that nostalgia headfirst into obsessive autism and compulsive grinding to become "the best" in what is ultimately a fruitless endeavor. These people don't have jobs or very low paying minimum wage jobs they infrequently work and double down on Smash Bros to be their ticket to success.

Smash Ultimate is pretty much the same story but without the old player base guardrails. You see this same song and dance pop up multiple times in other communities such as speedrunning because it is impulsive behavior from people who never grew up and set limits alongside priorities on themselves in order to succeed. It's telling that one of the few actual success stories in Smash Bros is Hungrybox, the one guy with an actually useful college degree he can fall back on if this ship sails.

Meanwhile, you have people like Leffen, M2K, Mang0 (to a lesser degree since he coasts off his wife as the breadwinner), IBDW, etc. basically coasting off the few fans who idolize them for whatever reason and many resort to begging people to sign up to sponsorships incessantly and donation goals. Many of them still have teenager mentality because they are convinced "playing video game good" will somehow pay off in the hollow void of their entire personality and they will never change until they are ousted hard like ZeRo or until they find the savings depleted after the niche game they were playing no longer serves its money making purpose (and they often change for the worst, as is the case of Leffen where he just hops from FG to FG, finding success in terms of wins but increasing his notoriety/disgust reputation from his childlike, psychopathic behavior).

Trannies in FGC/Smash are just the byproduct of the same root cause: Peter Pan Syndrome. These people are just one step away from gambling addicts, and that step away is somehow less profitable and more risky.
