Well now that KH is coming to switch, it makes a lot of sense for Disney to greenlight it. Also Sora was the most requested character from NA and EU fans, so he's always been someone they tried to get.

People are STILL Reeing over Geno?! Wasn't he disconfirmed whenever his Mii costume was revealed with Sephiroth?!

Also, meh on Sora. I personally didn't care who got in, but his moves look boring and Kingdom Hearts has the uncanny ability to always look either autistic or gay as fuck no matter what context.. Or both.
 
The fact that it was Geno should have been enough proof that he was never getting in. And this is coming from someone that loved Super Mario RPG.
 
For those who aren't thrilled about Sora being the last one, what character did you want to be revealed for the final DLC?

Honestly, I would have liked someone more original and completely out of left field. Sora's moves just aren't very interesting.

That said, I've been satisfied with the roster since K. Rool was revealed.

I'm fine with whoever, but I'm surprised Porky from Earthbound/mother wasn't any of the DLC fighters with the weird shit that was going on with him not having a spirit, costume, or anything. That's the kind of thing they did for other fighters that ended up being DLC and I wouldn't be surprised if he would've been the backup plan if the Sora shit didn't go through. Much like ridley, in Brawl they heavily upscaled his mech from mother 3 to be a boss monster. Also much like ridley if he showed up in smash, some people would go ballistic in anger like they did with ridley.

King K rool and Ridley were long time coming needed additions and they're some of the most fun to play as.
