Possibly the hardest GameCube/PS2/Xbox games out there, quite a few gamers who played in the early 2000s know the fun and frustration of trying to tilt the level without letting the ball fall out of bounds. The games have been getting remade lately, now you can even play as Sonic, Kazuma Kiryu, Morgana, or a Sega console. Banana Splitz remake/port when?!

I picked up Banana Mania on a good sale and overall it is pretty good and a mostly-faithful recreation of the originals. However a couple of the levels are almost impossible to complete (almost) due to the way in which the game physics have changed to accommodate the remaster. For most levels you're going to be find but a couple are going to make you sit there and scratch your head as to why the developers thought this was okay.

4-6 Launchers is probably where you're going to first encounter this.

But of course you can skip the few levels that have issues like that. If you're a complete fucking pussy.

I like monkeys. I like balls. Monkey Ball is a great combination of those things, but it's just too fucking brutal.

I've been enjoying blitz because i never got to play it. I should probabl pick up mania because I only ever played the first MB

Is this like the Roll Goal minigame in Twilight Princess? I liked that.

Both TP and the Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz were wii launch titles, yet the former's minigame was honestly a more authentic Super Monkeyball experience

Super Monkey Ball was a joyful game that I remembered thinking it was good competition to beat Donkey Kong when his bongo-Guitar Hero like game came out many years ago for the GameCube.

Plus, I’m willing to argue that this paved the way for Fall Guys to exist.

Banana rumble got a patch that fixes some unity engine stuttering issues. It’s still great.

Launchers is an extremely frustrating level in Banana Mania compared to it's SMB2 Counterpart. The physics in this game made Launchers nearly as tough as Stamina Master where as in SMB2, I am capable of beating it in a couple tries.

A while ago I beat Master in Super Monkey Ball and Master Extra in Super Monkey Ball 2.
The only real Monkey Ball games are 1, 2 and Deluxe. Everything else sucks, which is a shame.
Hardest games I've ever beaten. But so satisfying once you do it.

Hardest levels in my opinion are Expert 7, Master 3 and Master 9 in the first game, and Notch (Master 5), Helix (Master Extra 8) and Dizzy System (Master Extra 9) in the second. I've attached video links to the levels in question to refresh your memory.

Expert 7 is such a huge difficulty spike in the first game, its still my least favourite level.
Did you know it was originally doing to be a Master stage? (as seen on an old commercial)

Shoutouts to Dizzy System for being really buggy as well. As seen in videos like this:
