super mario rpg was an important game for me as a kid.

i do not like how this looks. i feel like one of the big reasons smrpg stood out was it's unique look. now it just looks like mario party but everyone is short. i will play this but i will not pay for it.
 
I liked the Links Awakening remake so I'll probably like this. I tried playing it on Wii u vc but that was janky

Oh boy, more remakes... I sure love fucking remakes! This is way better than a new Mario RPG game in perhaps the same style!

Super Mario RPG doesn't need a fucking remake. At best I might check how some of the bosses look in the new style, which isn't even that huge an upgrade based on how the game already looked. I'd also say maybe now Geno could get into Smash, but we all know he won't and this will just be another reason people will argue about on Reddit when the next Smash releases in 6 years and this remake is no longer "relevant".

I grew up with it, but there is no way in hell I'd buy this remake. I personally still have the cartridge, but if I wanted to play it and didn't I would just fucking emulate it. FUCK REMAKES.
 
Unless they add new content, I'm not too quick to repurchase an already good game. Also that UI is soulless.

Did the creators of this remake realize that Peach looks short in the intro because she's sitting down? Did they seriously look at a shot of Peach sitting down and think OK, she's like two foot tall in this one?

joke's on you faggots. I've made peace with the fact that SoA will most likely stay dead, and in the process of staying dead, also stay pure and unsullied. Meanwhile your precious Mario RPG will most likely be molested by the troons at Nintendo Treehouse. Who's really winning here? :smug:
