They added wrinkle maps to the faces (what LA Noire used) and it just looks uncanny instead of realistic.

Yeah I'm not seeing any global illumination, the shadows are super harsh and dark. The whole rendering is just ugly looking, love creation engine.
 
I like these alien animals, even if they're slightly generic
Kind of wish they were a bit more stylized, ah well
 
Have they integrated CBBE? Oh god no they are doing the Star Citizen face system lol

Yes, he is. Also the reason F04's story was so stupid and also the reason I likely won't be buying any more Bethesda games.
 
So did they just ditch FaceGen entirely? If they are doing the Star Citizen face blending its going to be very limited. Elden Ring had incredible faces and they are still using FaceGen.

Okay, so "traits" are actually just a way to lock sidequests behind character gen to artificially inflate playthrough amount? Fuuuuck that. Let me actually roleplay in an RPG, damn it!!
 
So more nigger fatigue and Silksong is still AWOL then...

Well, I got P3 to look forward to since I never played either version.

They wont lock anything out. That would be an 'rpg' mechanic, gotta let the player do everything no matter what.
