Looks like it was mentioned in 2014, but the ability to filter the news feed so it's just posts would be cool. I've been trying out following users who consistently make me laugh so I can find more funny but the feed gets clogged with reacts.
It'd be nice to see through the newest registered members in a scrolling list view like the currently online members list instead of only being able to see 12 of them.
Thoughts on giving moderators the ability to temporarily lock certain threads from people who haven't already posted in them before? Might be good for some featured threads.
If you haven't already engaged in a certain cow's discussion thread prior to them getting featured, chances are your posts the day it does get featured aren't gonna be particularly useful to the discussion.
Obviously this wouldn't apply to all featured threads. But you just kinda know which ones would benefit from this before the feature goes life.
I'd really love the option to pick date/relevance in the quick search interface on the top right. I understand that I can do this in advanced search, but the Xenforo default relevance option works incredibly poorly in many cases.
This, I mostly browse KF from my phone, using the Stealth theme, and would love a Dark Stealth theme so I don't burn my retinas out in the evening opening KF.
This may be better suited for the Techincal Grievances thread but could there be a better way to implement the read button on threads? As it is now, it clips through the titles.
Recently I've realized that putting someone on the ignore list also hides any and all threads made by that person, except for when the thread pops up in the most recent post section. Is there any way to make it not do that?
Retarded idea: Limit the amount of stickers a user can give per x amount of time, scaling with their trophy points or whatever other arbitrary metric, to slightly encourage them to use them more wisely and declutter the server a bit
I want a thread similar to the one where you tell people how to thumbnail. but for telling people how to quote messages that are too long.
I'm tired of seeing people not know how to highlight and then quote the relevant part of a long message.
Just some stupid shit I built with lazy JS and GPT's help. If Null doesn't care, I'm sure Kiwis can build some of the simpler shit for folks to deploy on their own end. Dad needs to focus on the big boy stuff.
Idk if this has been bought up before but is it possible to add a response list like an imageboard? It's cool to track responses and conversation chains that way instead of having to manually read every post before stumbling across responses to a certain post. It's not that I dislike reading posts, it's just that if there's a post I like, I'd like to see the responses to it first before reading something else, ease of access to post responses.
Okay I have an idea on how the forum can make more money.
Exclusive pay-to-spend stickers. You make an array of new stickers that you have buy a quantity of to spend on rating posts just like Reddit gold. You can buy these stickers-to-spend by using crypto like Monero. Low IQ sticker spergs will get off their asses to learn how Monero works just to buy stickers because they're stickers. It's just like the hats in TF2.
