I agree with what @tantric_depressive said, he’s depressed about his YouTube channel. The high of his “career” was being retweeted by Trump around election time. Then Trump lost, and he’s had to pretend like he was black-pilled all along because of his ego. That probably drove off much of the MAGA crowd he’d been catering to, and now his numbers have cratered. His social blade views graph tells it all.

I mean he hasn't had that major extended growth, and he's been on youtube for years. He should be content with the fact he's at least still growing
 
Surprised he hasn't talked at all about Rush passing. I fully expected one of his super cringe, very forced, trying-too-hard-to-be-edgy dance-on-grave videos he always does for anyone he deems a neocon (think back to McCain and HW Bush). It'd be fucking hilarious if he just flat-out doesn't know lol.

But he’s not still growing. His growth has stagnated at best, and it took a nosedive in January. The people already subscribed are also not watching.

He probably wisely knows that he’d be shooting himself in the foot in terms of scaring away what’s left of the conservatives that watch him if he pissed on the grave of Rush Limbaugh before the man is even in it.

To be fair, he's been badmouthing YouTube in almost every video for months, and now he's posting exclusive content to other sites, with the promise of increasing that exclusive content while decreasing his YouTube content. It makes sense that his YouTube numbers would be down, but they don't provide the whole picture. Which isn't to say he's exploding on alt-tech; he claims he is but I don't know the numbers and don't care to look them up. Just wanted to point this out.

I made a similar post awhile back in this thread that may be of some interest to you (I'm too lazy to find it though).

I did just check his Bitchute and he's doing quite well there recently. Going back to the beginning of this month his regular news content has garnered a floor of 9300 views (on a video from yesterday about NATO). Every other one of those news related videos this month has at least 11,800 views (the low point which is surprisingly a video about AOC from the 6th of the month). I thought that having her in the title would've been a boon for views.

His Bitchute exclusives are doing quite well with a floor of 18,900 views on a February 2nd video of AOC. His exclusive from yesterday is at about 17,500 views but I didn't use that as the floor as it's inevitable that it'll pass the aforementioned AOC video pretty quickly.

Odysee is still an afterthought in terms of views for him but it's going up. I'm not going to break it all down, but I just looked at the AOC video from the 6th and it's at about 950 views which does seem like a decent increase on that platform for him.

No shit, COVID was largely unknown in terms of its effects and appeared incredibly infectious and potentially very deadly. Nobody knew what it was capable of, and Styx wisely advised people to stock up on necessary items to last for a month or two because of potential lockdowns and runs on groceries. He was right to do so and I'm glad he did, because I took that advice and my life was a hell of a lot easier during those first two months; stores in my area became fucking mobbed a couple of weeks later. Or did you forget about all those stores having empty shelves? Especially the toilet paper aisles, for whatever reason. I wouldn't call that doomprepping. The threat was very real at that time, or at least it appeared so, and that causes panic. Panic causes people to fucking kill each other for a roll of toilet paper, which did actually happen. He wasn't warning of a total collapse of society or something, just that you should get your shit together because it might be difficult to get your hands on everything you need if you wait.

If you want to say he advised doomprepping, then talk about the election transition, because he actually did do so there, and I think he's a fool wanting to LARP Fallout for it.

Just to clarify, I don't mean to imply that I now find COVID to be anywhere near the threat it's still being hyped up to be. I'm just saying that things were different at first, and at the very least, public perception was very fearful. You know, once people like Pelosi stopped telling everyone it wasn't a big deal and to party in Chinatown. Of course, the reality was that only people old or with pre-existing conditions were actually at high risk of serious illness or death. But that doesn't matter when people are afraid, and you're trying to get eggs or evaporated milk at the grocery store but they're just fucking gone.

I feel like I hallucinated it sometimes but I swear when the "Wuhan Coronavirus" was first making waves on Reddit in early January there were "leaked" clips of people collapsing in the streets of China from the virus.

Frankly a much likelier scenario is that it was basically fake/staged, even if just aggregated and curated for shock value. Double poomonia making people pass out like they got gassed or something? Funny we don't see that happen elsewhere. What about the fact that we now know the virus isn't even that bad? Was it just magically apocalyptic in one region for a short period of time? It reeks of shit. Just 'cuz the chinks were boarding people in their houses and vanning doctors doesn't mean those breddy scarry videos make any sense.
