https://youtube.com/watch?v=GCXcNh_NxLIStyx appears to have stopped cooking for himself since leaving mommy/wife.

I'm no health nut but eating processed, freeze dried garbage this often can't be good for you.
I think he just wants to do the Steve thing, as bad as he is at it. I doubt he's eating MREs three times a day.
He's been reviewing MRE's since at least 2016. He has a playlist of them. Not that he hasn't ramped it up since he's cooking for himself.

alright, so what's the deal with him and his wife? are they split? why'd he leave based amsterdam?
Was wondering the exact same thing. If I were a Vermonter married to a Dutch woman you better believe I'd flee America for Holland and never look back. I don't know how Dutch immigration works, maybe if you marry a Dutch national you don't get to immigrate there immediately but there's some sort of process that only allows you to be there for periods of time until you get a final approval or something. That being said, I wouldn't really put it past Styx to turn down an opportunity to live in a flat in one of the safest and most prosperous countries in Europe with a woman he is married to, in favor of his parents house in a shitty small town in Vermont.

It makes no sense that Tarl would come back to the states in the middle of the pandemic just to visit his parents. According to his wife, they’re still married though.

Why would you want to live in a place with high taxes where you can't buy guns and constantly gets its cock and balls trampled on by the eu.

Styx is surprisingly totalitarian here. "There should be a law against public personas being dropped if theres an allegation of wrongdoing against you."

That's absurd. A business shouldn't be forced to associate with someone who has a bad rap. The press would eat them alive for it, that's WHY they drop people. Part of your job as a celebrity is to cultivate and maintain a good public image. If you fail to do so your worth as a brand drops.

I've watched a lot of Styx, and with his verbal style, I took that as a throwaway line. He didn't come back to it or elaborate upon it, which you will see him do at length when he is seriously proposing legislation. Styx may be as prone to bias as the rest of us, but I think he knows full well that wrongful allegations leading to loss of employment are lawsuits ripe for the picking. He also often alludes to the cake baking fiasco ("bake the cake, bigot") when speaking about the rights of private companies. This is more a "spinelessness, hypocrisy and dishonesty" video than a "we need laws to protect against this" video.

I think a lot of things are going on in this video. Being anti me-too, people not losing their jobs without actual charges being brought. This seems to me a bit contrary to libertarianism in a way, because I thought it meant you should be able to hire and fire whomever you want for whatever reason, freedom of association. At the same time he feels incredibly strongly about Manson being innocent because of how he views him as someone falsely abused by the religious right, the Satanic Panic stuff that seems so entrenched in his view of life (even though some of it was true). But the reason Manson is edgy is precisely because of how he was vilified by the religious right. If Manson was deemed 'normal', Styx wouldn't have thought he was so cool because he wouldn't have been rebelling against anything.

going from "Marilyn Manson is innocent" to "Michael Jackson is innocent" feels like part of one of those Galaxy Brain twitter memes. or maybe a Vince McMahon.
the fourth panel would be "actually, Dan Schneider is the victim here".

I wonder if Styx may take the black pill soon. Maybe I'm misreading him, he might be tired or something, but he seems quite demoralized here, bare-chested under his Kevlar vest.
Not that I'd blame him.
