He's lost his goddam marbles. Admittedly I haven't paid attention to Tarlie for a couple of months now but was him losing his ability to read not a larp? Can he not type? He spelled his last name wrong! Also where is he? He's been in this same room for the last two months or so. Is this the funny farm or is he holed up somewhere with the cops on his tail? Clock me if you must but I need to know.

He is living in the new york apartment of a retarded chick who has rich parents. he had been talking to the retarded chick for hours and hours on the phone while living with his last girlfriend, in order to make her jealous.
He has a warrant but new york doesnt let people go bounty hunting and the cops aren't going to care enough to go after him unless they run his plate and catch him driving around living life somewhere or he gets into another domestic abuse situation where they call the cops on him.

I do not think the parents are rich. i am staring my attack on title but it appears they all live in this shithole in bensonhurst and i would assume tarl is paying some small rent for a room.

Bounty hunters are allowed to operate in New York but they don't go after bench warrants. They work for bail bondsmen and pursue their clients who have skipped bail, in order to protect the bondsman from forfeiture and thus loss of money. Since Styx didn't have a bondsman there is no danger of muscular, blond-mulleted civil contract enforcers armed with pepper ball guns kicking down the door of his hidey-hole anytime soon.

The system operates on the assumption that those who incur criminal charges and fail to show up for court are thoroughgoing scum and will inevitably have future run-ins with law enforcement, at which time their warrant can be discovered and enforced. The system is not prepared to deal with someone who doesn't work, doesn't drive and never leaves his apartment. Styx has effectively "hacked" the system by being a total shut-in loser with an online revenue source.
