"The line "You can feel the punishment, but you can't commit the sin" is a central metaphor from the 1986 song "No One Is to Blame" by Howard Jones. It captures a profound sense of emotional and psychological tension—being acutely aware of the consequences of a desire or action, yet unable to fully engage in or be responsible for it."

Tarl keeps going back to that song. Knowing how he tends to roll, he's just day drinking, pining for Sam (or just resenting legal constraints), and trying his best to be a whiny, vagueposting, even bigger borderline, himself

And you censored your comments anyway and went petty baby tyrant because you wanna be Cap'n Drunk, the Baali Butt Pirate. You did nothing but babble with stupid levels of overconfidence for money and grift.
We're not "pretending" you didn't have a stroke, we KNOW it, because absolutely nothing about your bullshit story makes any sense. That isn't how ERs work. It isn't how strokes work. It's just obvious lying that fooled literally nobody.

He’s having some kind of wigger izzat moment where we can’t criticize his alcoholic spiraling because he fought for free speech.
I know we're all probably in agreement, but he didn't fight for anything! He did nothing.

So many people of his generation and younger have accepted that posting your support for something on social media = actually doing something in the real world.

When someone posts a #PoliticalSlogan on their social media, they're literally sitting at home doing nothing.

I can say right here right now that I support education for women and girls in Afghanistan, but me saying that isn't me doing anything to support it/uphold it or whatever. I'm not actually helping anyone.

Tarl has done less than nothing for free speech, let alone any other rights.

Corned beef is cheaper than fucking hamburger. So, I'm making that again. Nearly a week of meals will cost less than that greasy (but delightful) chicken sandwich I had night before last.

I might need to plate some veges so I can shove the cabbage into the crockpot, or I can just make that on it's own with some vegestock, which might make it more tart, and slightly less droopy.

Suggestions?

I think she has a chance if it goes to trial, all her lawyer has to do is use Tarl’s history and criminal record against women.
..she admitted to punching him in the face. On camera. Which has been publicly released. He acts like a pussy, trying to show that it's worse than it actually was, but you can't really deny facts just because you want to see him get punched in the face.

Cut the cabbage into 1/8 wedges. At the end of the corned beef cooking process, make sure you got plenty of water in there and it's at a gentle boil. Carefully float your cabbage wedges on top of the water, cover, and boil for 15 minutes. Retrieve your cabbage immediately, don't let it rest in the water. The cabbage on the top is going to be your more al dente cabbage, and the stuff that was lower in the water is going to be more well done. Taste it before you add salt and pepper.

Aye. Plan on doing that. Cooker is pretty damn full, though. Most of the recipes I know of suggest letting the cabbage set atop the boil for an hour, but that's just going to make mush. I usually just pile my dry seasonings like this to let it steep for the first few hours before mixing it in.

But will you be eating this with "hearty bread"?

We Scandinavians go to rutabaga for our cabbage, even in corned beef. So much tastier than cabbage leaf.
