I used to watch Styx religiously in 2016 and 2017. I forgot about him for a while then decided to look up his youtube a few days ago for nostalgia's sake and immediately wondered what was wrong with his tooth and overall appearance. I did a little digging and fell into this unbelievable rabbit hole. I've still got over a hundred pages of this thread to catch up on but I think I've filled in most of the blanks. The only thing I'm confused about is Mel. How did he meet her? Is she genuinely retarded and is he exploiting her? She uploaded an 8 minute video about her cat's death today and it seems like she might be brain damaged, but it's also possible that all women would sound this retarded if they spoke in the same voice that she does. I find it funny how you can hear her Brooklyn Jew accent mixed in with the retard accent.

I watched Mel's video. I found it extremely difficult to watch, I actually had to take a break halfway through. At 0:50 Mel states that the aminal doctor said her cat Borange had blood clots in its aorta and low potassium. This made me go Hmmm.
I asked a Machine Mind the following question: Are there any poisons that will cause blood clotting as a primary or secondary symptom?
The first answer was the venom from an African snake, Not an issue for a house cat in Brooklyn.
The next two suggestions are more germane:
Anticoagulant rodenticides primarily prevent clotting by interfering with vitamin K, which is essential for producing clotting factors. However, in some cases, the initial disruption can trigger secondary clotting events, especially in individuals with pre-existing vascular disease, due to endothelial damage and inflammation.
Organophosphate (OP) poisons are associated with a
prothrombotic state. Although they primarily affect the nervous system by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase, they also induce oxidative stress, endothelial injury, and platelet activation. This increases the risk of
deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and
pulmonary thromboembolism (PTE), particularly in the subacute phase after poisoning. A case report confirmed
pulmonary thrombosis developing after acute OP poisoning, highlighting clotting as a significant complication.
Organophosphate poisons are commonly found in household insect sprays for ants, cockroaches, etc.
My suspicion is that Thyx killed Mel's beloved Borange. Is it possible that the cat found and ate some rat poison all by itself? I suppose. But the timing, the past cat deaths, and the blood rituals make me think that Thyx is responsible.
