Im just living my best life.I used tolbus sasolute ass just to get by, and now I have enough cZontinuing money even without youtute and twittr,
So, are you currently "dying" or "living your best life"? Which is it, or both?

If you are going to die shortly, why are you trying to get your tooth fixed?

Cheers bro! Sunday cock-tails on the house.

This is true. I have to admit, a lot of the people, especially on my holiday lists, are just kinda dumb and incapable of putting together a decent fresh-cooked meal on their own. But they're family, or friends-of-family, and I can afford to spot them one or two decent hot meals a year.

The random Friday "I thought you'd like a change from Meals on Wheels" casual drop-off is for special people only though. I don't do those for people who are just too dumb or lazy to learn how to cook.
What you're really talking about is upholding community. Helping strangers is good as far as it goes. I think more people should volunteer, I worked soup kitchen myself, but the abstraction can mean you're helping people who are just takers. By focusing on family and extended means you are helping people you know are in need, and you honor them.

Used to do that for our parents, who got too decrepit to cook much, although they certainly knew how.

I'm not so sure people know how to cook from scratch much anymore. If you look at new houses, their kitchens are basically microwavatoriums. More room to unpack takeout, maybe. I briefly worked in a jail, and even back in the eighties, the inmates were all about chicken strips.

I am not paying Nikki anything.

I was sucker punched for the sin of "waking her up"- which I did not even do. She woke up on her own and was for some reason mad I was on the computer, which never woke her before. She became aggressive and assaulted m, grappling and shoving. She then committed actual battery (unlike me) and I have a material witness. It was by calling that material witness onto a live call to witness what was happening that she decided to punch me. I did not know what else to do spur of the moment.

I was reluctant to make a criminal complaint because the law is an ass but it s now out of my hands.
She didn't punch for you no reason....

It's unfortunate because you can save so much money cooking from scratch. Some things have an initial investment, and it helps if you can buy in bulk, but overall you can save a lot and eat healthy (which also makes @Dumbledore's Onlyfans' suggestion better).

During covid, we went to a Methodist service because a friend asked us, and a long line of free meal seekers filed in after the service. Later, talking to various people, I heard a lot of grumbling about certain takers and there was some kind of quid pro quo expectation. Something like, "Joe on 5th street is here every week for takeout, but you don't see him volunteering to snowblow. Hmmm."

At the same time, the local Masons were running takeout home-cooked soups and dinners to elderly shut-ins. That went on for months, a kind of impromptu Meals on Wheels. My takeaway from that is that it pays to join at least a few societies. You get to eat if you're hungry or do some good helping others out ... yet so many of us join nothing, self-isolating in front of a screen (and punching bitchface biting babies, making mad cards, chucking Clamato cans, and saying incantations over menstrual deciduum).
But I don’t want to be around anyone in person who isn’t family.

Unless they let him have his phone and is flying high on their CIWA protocol benzos.
His newest videos are in a place he hasn’t filmed before.

His hat and gaudy necklaces are gone, his pants are badly torn at both knees, his hope and optimism is gone, his day is ruined. He doesn't look like he showered or brushed his teeth though. Unfortunate.

It's weird that he's still sitting on a sibgle bed that's wedged in between a bookcase and a wall. This place is very freshly painted and has new, clean linens. There are a number of items on the bookcase that I can't really see. This space is a weird combo between casual and institutional. Maybe Styx is Harry Pottering it up and filming from the space beneath somebody's staircase. Maybe he's hiding in a closet in Castle Rutland, maybe he's under Mel's stairs, maybe he's in rehab (doubt).

You don't even have to be that good at cooking, or cook all the food yourself. The food just has to be better than TV dinners and ramen. Last time rotisserie chickens were on sale, I sent those out with Bob Evans mashed potatoes, broccoli, half a corn on the cob, and a brown N serve roll. Everybody was happy with it even though it was 80% pre-made or storebought.

The important part is instilling the concept of community within your family and close friend's families.
