MOTION TO REVOKE THE PROBATION OF THE DEFENDANT
NOW INTO COURT comes the State of Louisiana, through the undersigned
Assistant District Attorney, and who in accordance with Louisiana Code
of Criminal Procedure Articles 900, et seq., petitions the Court as
follows:
1.
On June 18, 2025, a bench trial was held and the defendant was found
guilty of domestic abuse battery. The defendant received a sentence of
six months suspended on July 15, 2025. He was placed on active probation
for a period of six months.
2.
Throughout the probationary period, the defendant has had contact with
the named victim in the protective order issued on June 18, 2025 and
expiring on June 18, 2027 as part of the probationary conditions ordered
by The Honorable Chief Judge Juana Marie Lombard.
This contact included
text messages, phone calls, and in-person meetings which occurred in
Vermont.

victim detailing all contact with the defendant.)
WHEREFORE, the State of Louisiana prays that the defendant's probation
be revoked in this matter and the full sentence of six months be made
executory.
